Seems like a pretty unimportant stat when the 10th assist has to be cheesed like that.

Stats are for losers

What is Doc thinking? Rondo should've been benched to ruin the **** streak. It's harmful to the team, he'll never play to his potential as long as he's trying to keep a stupid record going.

Two positives from tonight, just the two.

1) Rondo hit two 3's.
2) Sullinger showing he can score.

This is the Celtics guys. They are known for laying stinkers against **** teams, ESPECIALLY against Detroit for some reason. It's annoying as hell, but you should all be used to it by now. They'll bring their A game against San Antonio and OKC.

Plus 100. Can't believe doc is doing this.

Lost a ton of respect for Doc Rivers.

Yeah it's not like we just didn't get blown out by the 2nd worst NBA team, and have two very close games (including OT) vs the worst team in the league or anything.

Blown out by a 1-9 team. Woohoo Celtics. But at least Rondo's streak is alive. Come on: admit it, it would have added insult to injury if he lost it on this game.

Well that shows why 90% of fans don't care about the streak.

Anytime you need to go to that length to get it extended its not worth it.

If Rondo blows out his knee trying to get #10 is it worth it? Is risking your best player in garbage time of a loss worth extending a streak?

This streak is getting ridiculous now, I really hope it ends as soon as possible. Never seen a player go for stats like this.

its an embarrassment that doc left rondo in to keep his record going. he played like **** and didnt deserve it.
with few exceptions - sully plays big minutes = celtics lose.
