As for the game, another performance where everyone contributed. There were no spectators. Real tough.

I'll give the cigar to the truth. As soon as the boos rained in and Carmelo started thinking he could hit everything, Pierce showed him how it's done.

KG is a close second for getting in Carmelo's head, throwing him off his game and playing fantastic defense.

Carmelo went to the Celtics locker room and was looking for KG :o

Legion Sports@MySportsLegion

MSG is reporting that Carmelo Anthony went straight to the Celtics locker room yelling after the game, had to be held back by teammates.

PP, KG, Avery, Sully... what a great team win.

What's so impressive about this is that we had 26 assists and only 10 turnovers without Rondo in the game.

Satisfying.

Because they lost to us AT HOME without Rajon Rondo.

The Knicks are still the Celtics' bitches.

Should be punished if that's the case.

I missed a good chunk of the game, but when I watched, Green was defending Melo so well, so he got it.

BRUNiNHO91 wrote:I thought the bench turned this game around. New York had a 10 point lead at one point and Sully-Green-Lee and Bosa got us back into it and gave us the lead. That was huge. Jeff Green was phenomenal off the bench and gave Melo a hard time. Lee was great, Bosa was great and Sullinger was great. Avery Bradley was probably our best player in the second half and Paul Pierce just owned the Knicks again.

Look at NY post game thread..'Paul Pierce owns our souls'...

Truth!

P.S Apparently Melo tried going into the Celtics locker room after the game. lol..chill your beans son.

Bruno - our **** 35 yo Super Star did it YET AGAIN! But but but not still a "star"....LOLOLOL.

The best player on the Boston Celtics - Paul **** Truth!

Great D VS that **** worthless chump Melo who shot about 20% (& tried to pick a fight with KG during & after the game).

23 points on 10-18, 6As in ONLY 28 minutes. **** refs tried to foul him out & he literally only played Q2 & Q4!!! And he STILL dominated! Down the stretch, he made the clutch assists & hit the **** game-icing vintage J over the best defensive center in the **** NBA! TRUUUUUTH!

KG was fantastic!
Jeff & Jared were outstanding!
Lee & Bosa were very good.

And, drumroll, Avery Bradley is just a **** DEFENSIVE STUD. First Team All NBA! We CANNOT trade him! NO. NO. NO!!!!

Team D was ORGASMIC.

3 Ws in a row VS tough EC playoff teams. Let's win the next 5 at home! Rock & roll, green lovers.

PS When is Jet going to remember how to shoot?

Probably won't be. Meanwhile Rondo gets suspended for something weak.

D E F E N S E -!!

Wow, THAT was an impressive Bare Knuckle, Gutsy performance by the Celtics---Did NOT let the Knicks out-muscle us.....Sullinger is tough as nails---Bradley is Locking them down---they HAD to have their Small Forward bring the ball up---NEITHER guard wanted to----!!!

Kudos to Jeff Green, Lee, Barbosa....and ALL the guys---Now, if JET can start hitting a shot or two--!!
