Telling people to grow up on the Internet is really grown up, yeaaaaa....

What were your thoughts on Jeremy Lin again? Must be that little bit of that Asian look in Bradkey that so bothers you?

Great call. If they want to argue let them do it in here. I for one have never been one of the "I don't like seeing this thread at all" people. Could care less what is on the front page here, just stop bringing the tank/antitank stuff into every thread.

We tanked for two seasons, did a move that we thought wouldn't destroy the tank too bad and ended up getting unlucky. Whatever.

? All I did was post a few memes? What are you mad at me about? I've added a bunch of discussion in that thread in the past.

Frankly, I don't think this thread should even exist, but I also don't enjoy the usual people arguing with each other in circles in other threads. Its not my fault people freak out with any mention of the tank or any mention of the tank "losing" this year. Ideally, neither side would be that reactionary. You guys aren't going to agree with each other and just end up doing a quote train that most here don't read.

No idea what post count this week has to do with any of this.

The 2015-2016 Tanking thread is the number 1 thing I'm looking forward to on these boards next year. I've always admired those who achieve success by not doing it 'the right way'. Keep up the good work, Captain.

Is there a chance of us actually tanking next year? No idea what the 2016 draft class will look like either, don't watch a ton of college ball.

I suppose it all depends on if we hit any of our targets this summer. I imagine we will, even if its the leftovers.

And yeah, love your posts/attitude, Cave, which is why that comment confused me even more, haha.

"Winning is hard" - Brad Stevens.

Don't land a free agent, don't move up in the draft, couple of key long term injuries? Sure. We could be easily worse off.

We could also be way better off next year.

Winning is hard.

All good. Wasn't really quoting you there. I've been copsetic about it, but the anti-tanker crowd needs some lessons about basketball, IMO.

The trade for Thomas and that playoff run were fool's gold. No way should we have given up a very real shot a major asset just to add some selfish, no-defense, midget 3rd guard - and especially so given that we almost certainly could have traded for him anyways this summer.

Might work out in spite of itself, but that sucked hard and you'd think people who grew up on championship basketball would know better. Ainge's 1st mistake of the rebuild and you can see it all over his face that he knows it.

JMO, of course.

Tank is over. We had two shots at it and gave one away. Hope it doesn't hurt us too bad, but good chance it does.

You really can see on his face he didn't want this kind of year. I think he's partially to blame for not starting this rebuild earlier (not trading Perkins and blowing it up after playoffs that year).

It sucked but I rolled with it, pretty unfortunate we didn't really help any of our player's value other than Crowder, Sully (maybe, may have stayed the same) and Smart, despite playing decently. IT probably hurt his value somewhat.

This summer is going to determine whether we end up in the badlands. I would rather have the pick too, but it was what it was.

I agree with you though. Not sure why everyone needs to "prove" tanking wouldn't have worked out. That's pretty ridiculous. Pick is always better than getting swept regardless of your level of passion for the team, lol.

Only bumping this, so we can discuss the tanking stuff here, and not have the other thread detailed.

To me, I think the Danny Ainge is done with tanking, unless we don't land any major players this offseason.
