Anyone think Karl will be crazy enough to tank games so the Kings can get rid of Cousins? Karl's ego is big enough to pull a stunt like that IMO.

When the Nets are 2-11 to start the season, you know those Nets picks will look awfully good on that trade market.

Dude. I wish we had this guy. Casey sucks so bad.

Dude puts up 12-9-1 in 26mpg. 8 shots a game! wtf lol. Why is he playing 26mpg?

Yo I swear if we (Well Brad) had Toronto's roster, they'd be a ECF type team. I think Dwane Casey is a terrible coach straight up. I think it's cause I hate him from him coaching Minny from 05-07, but he just sucks.

Starting center getting you 15-10 in the young-mid 20's is a good deal. If Toronto can get a #1-2 option type PF, they're gonna be really good.

Bad, yes. Terrible? No. He's kinda top heavy & foot work is good, but slow on his feet, so he's not good in P&Rs no. Meh rim protector, but still avg'd 1.2 bpg in 26min.

It's Casey though lol I swear. They ignore him on offense for 8+mins of the quarter, then force fed on old school post ups for 3 straight possession like he's supposed to be the dream in the post & then if he ***** up he gets pulled.

Can't stand JR Smith. It's funny that his bonehead plays on the court, translate to his bonehead decision of opting for free agency.

Not too sure signing Smith is the best plan, considering the only one getting in Cleveland's way is Cleveland, JR certainly shoots his team in the foot in clutch time. They are smelling a championship this year while health and team chemistry is their only opponent. Minutes for Thompson & Love and Smith's omnipresent knucklehead behavior on the court will be something of interest.

That deal is friendly though. If they sputter against a few teams out west throughout the season, I can see them tossing him in a bigger deal...

Not sure how anyone could watch the Bulls or Hawks series and think Jr is not Valuable to the Cavs. He was their 2nd leading scorer in the Hawks series with 18ppg. His 3 ball is incredibly valuable to them.

Now if he is being asked to be the 2nd option while being guarded by Klay thompson, he will struggle but as long as Kyrie and Love are healthy, that will never be the case.

Also when he doesnt have it going, they can easily just play Shumpert more. They also have no other way of replacing his talent in FA. Re-signing him was a complete no brainer

Yo i'm with the "JR Smith isnt as bad as his rep suggest group."

I think he struggled & has struggled as a go to guy. Just not him & hes 30... Aka it never will be him.

But as a 4th option who will have a couple 8/10 3fg's games a year & fine playing 24mpg & get 10ppg without getting the blame? Sounds good to me.

Sidenote -- i remember them calling him a Vince Carter with a jumper coming out of hs. Dude put no work into his game cept for shooting. He was a stupid athlete, not he doesnt even attack the rim. He just gave 0 effs.

MKG signs for less than what Demarre Carroll just got. Weak.

No doubt, but MKG is also an early extension, while Carroll was an unrestricted free agent.

What jumps out to me is that the MKG deal is twice the annual salary as Jae Crowder. I think Crowder and MKG are comparable players, highlighting the value of the deal we cut with our guy this Summer. "Comparable" does not mean "equal," by the way.

Valanciunas, MKG, Morris twins were all extended on fair to bargain contracts and they all share the same agent, Leon Rose. Rose did get paid for Melo and will be again with Durant next offseason. Bargnani and JR Smith were also signed on the cheap, but probably for a different reason haha. Among the current Celtics, only James Young is associated with him.

Some conflicting info out there says it's Rich Paul.(Edit: it is Leon Rose. Carry on) I'm not sure who it is, but it's a poor deal from MKG's perspective.

Give me Crowder any day of the week especially at half the price of MKG. I don't know what people are seeing in MKG other than he was the #2 pick. MKG is one of the biggest overated players in the game.

Great deal for MKG because he will never get another one like it the rest of his career.

Thankfully MKG won't be around for Ainge to waste cap space on him next year.
