How badly do the Lakers like Jaylen Brown? With a good summer league showing, would they trade D'Angelo straight up? I don't want D'Angelo, but he would make some sense for the Bulls.

Well... Typically guys don't play summer league as a 1st rounder until they've signed their guaranteed contracts, and once that's done, you can't trade them for a period of a few months.

Following Danny Ainge´s words, I think it´s fair to say it´s not likely we trade with either Philly or Chicago now...I wonder if Milwaukee too

Any trade partners out there?

30 days after they signed rookie deals, they can be dealt. But I want to give Brown a shot to prove himself, unless Bulls stop asking for Crowder, and if KD promises to sign with the Celtics. A good showing in the SL will increase his value.

What about trade with Atlanta for Millsap. They trade their PG, and Horford will leave probably. We can give him young core to their rebuilding process

Celtics gets Millsap,+ Korver
Atlanta gets 2017 Brooklyn 1st Pick + Jaylen Brown + Amir Johnson + Rj Hunter + Zizic

And sign with Horford in FA.

Thomas-Bradley-Crowder-Millsap-Horford.
Sorry for my English.

WTF...I honestly didn't think you were a Celtic's fan. This is a massive overpay. MASSIVE. That's an Anthony Davis deal...Not Paul Milsap...Whew...rough

If there was only a way to still land Noel.

Whoever the Celtics sign should be who Kevin Durant wants to play with . He is Plan A, until he signs with another team .

I like the Comet more than Russell at this point....and the Bulls want more...which is why the trade didn't happen.

I just have a feeling that a play for Cousins is in the works and a Cousins, Durant, Horford possibility exists.

Its usually the stuff that no-one is talking about that happens.

I trust KD has better judgement than to do such a thing.

I am actually not a Cousins fan per se BUT I have no doubt that Brad Stevens could make him into a winning BEAST. I also believe

IT
Smart
Durant
Horford
Cousins

Would be a force of nature.

I wonder what is going to happen with Amir. I believe the Celts have to decide on picking up his option by July 1st. If they are going to sign two max free agents, then they'd have to let him walk. Picking up his option would be beneficial, however, as he'd be on a team-friendly deal, and also would serve as a decent trade chip. Amir will be a good backup plan for the teams who miss out on the FA bigs. Same goes for Jerebko to a lesser degree.

I would guess that Boston will decline those options and communicate to both players that they will discuss new deals with each player later in the summer once we know about KD & Horford.

July 3rd is the date not the first for both Amir and Jonas.
