I think they should improve quite a bit, going from fringe NBA talent to George Hill at PG should be a big help.

Top five improving teams from last year to next?

Here's my list:
GS
Utah
Boston
Minny
Phoenix (total homer/wishful thinking pick there)

They also add Dante Exum, who I think may take some time to adjust but is a terrific athlete and should at least be a solid backcourt bench player.

I think you guys are underestimating the moves Indiana made. I have them as the second seed in the east unless Boston makes a big move.

I think they should be really solid but the losses of George Hill, the other Hills, and Mahinmi are getting overlooked a bit IMO.

Hilarious/depressing to have a 73 win team on the most improved list.

I expect Orlando to bounce one of Detroit, Chicago, Atlanta, Miami and Charlotte from a playoff seed.

I think there is a chance that Indy is worse this year than last. I'm not feeling the Young/Big Al front court at all.

I know he's a bit of a headcase, but man you gotta feel for DMC. If many of his outbursts are related to the ineptitude of those around him, should he really be criticized for it? I feel like he's Frank Grimes from the Simpsons, if anyone remembers that episode.

Milwaukee may move Monroe now that they overpaid for Plumlee.

Milwaukee just paid Plumlee 13MM/yr for the next four years. The fact that Ainge does NOT make moves like this is one of the biggest reasons I have faith in his ability as a GM.

Dion Waiters is now an unrestricted free agent. Let's hope that the Nets give him Crabbe money. He is an elite tank commander.

Agreed on all counts. Really Orlando should be there isntead of PHO, and to me Chicago and Miami are big risks this year. I think Atlanta falls off but they should still be 7-8 seed worthy.

Though I suppose they have a mini-version of what OKC is going through right now, if they think Millsap/Korver aren't resigning (or worth resigning for what it takes). They probably trade for younger established guys though rather than bottom out. Wouldn't surprise to see trade deadline deals there though.

Thank you.

Even then, reporters are baiting him to say something & run with it, but he just gives a real comment, puts his head down & goes to work.

Imagine any diva superstar in Sac? They'd be coaching/gm'ing/everything, or *****, whine, complain & want out. Yet DMC just plays. & Really, that's why I grew to respect Melo too. Sticking it out through the rough times. Not putting down his franchise.

We should pull out the works to get him. He's putting up huge #'s in bumtown Sac, imagine him in Brad's system? Smh. He'd be an MVP candidate.

I'd take WCS too lol.

Here's my list:
GS
Utah
Boston
Minny
Phoenix (total homer/wishful thinking pick there)

They have 0 shot at the finals. But I can definitely see them getting to the 2nd round & winning 50 games.

IMO, it'll look like - 1GSW vs 4Utah & 3SAS vs 2LAC in the 2nd round.

Top 5 improves teams are
Boston (7+ W's) - Shouldn't be worse than 53-29. It looks awesome & I think that's borderline pessimistic. Can def see 55 wins.
Philly (+16 W's) - couple play makers will do them wonders. Esp if they trade Okafor or Noel for a guard. Progress!
Utah (+10 W's) - 50 win season for them. take a 4 5 seed & get to the semi's. I'd like to see them vs GSW.
Minny (+12 W's) - Finish .500 & an 8th seed. Lavine takes a step & Dunn is a future star. Sick team.
Indy (+8 W's) - They get home court. Turner proves to be a big steal & Paul George is MVP candidate. I like them.

Honorable Mention - New Orleans (+12-15 W's) .. Think they get back into the playoffs. The made moves they made were not big names, but will fit Gentry. 3 & D, athletic players, playing who know their role. Evans' knee is iffy still, but their starters missed an average of 29 games EACH last year. They won't be great, but they'll be a low playoff seed.

I'm with you. They lost a great coach, they lost 2 out of their 3 best defenders (Hill, Mahinmi) and they have very little shooting in their starting line-up. On top of that, Monta and Teague are a terrible fit in the back-court.

I wouldn't be surprised if they missed the playoffs.

Spoiler:
Nets and Sixers are only teams with no shot at making the playoffs. These are my early predictions. Assuming everyone is healthy, I have 7 locks, with Pacers, Magic and Heat fighting for the last spot.

Cavs
Raps
Celtics

Hawks
Pistons
Hornets
Wizards

Magic
Pacers
Heat
Bucks
Bulls
Knicks

Nets
Sixers
