I don't think KG is coming back to Boston. If they agree on a buyout, it's more likely he holds some sort of front office or consulting position with the T-Wolves. He's also expressed his desire to become an owner of the team.

Pierce retiring as a Celtic is a done deal once he officially tells the Clippers.

KG, Pierce, Duncan, and Kobe in the same HOF class would be something.

Kind of a weird move by KG to ask for money if he is retiring. Perhaps he wants to sign a 1-day deal with the Celtics as a big FU to Glen Taylor. Can't imagine that KG is too happy about Taylor not letting him buy into the ownership group. Probably not too happy about Sam Mitchell not being kept around either.

if he isn't retiring then it's Boston or the Clippers. Doc/Pierce/and being in LA living at home is enough to convince KG of 1 more stop as veteran depth ala Vince Carter and Richard Jefferson. It's possible. Or a return to Boston? I just can't see him outright coming to Boston alone, though. It would be too different without Doc, Pierce, Rondo....I can't see it happening unless there was some sort of prearranged deal with Pierce coming back. Or maybe they both sign 1 day contracts with Boston and retire. IDK

Think Danny would want him? Id love the influence he brings but, our roster is TIGHT right now and Danny isn't nostalgic and might not want to toss a youngster to the side to bring in a vet leader.
