Thought Charlotte would give this game away. Miami's on their way to win and Suns are on a tight one.

Brooklyn loss combined with a Miami win and all will be well with the world again.

Seriously, I was pretty pissed after the loss. This makes it feel a lot better.

I just can't wait until next year when we can really start to put this roster together without having to worry about adding future salary.

I wouldn't mind the Suns winning too, to cap a memorable night (draft-wise).

Imagining Fultz in Celtic green right now.
Handsome.

Phoenix won and Miami won. This night is good for our pick, at least.

It's amazing how we can lose a game and still have a great all around night for the organization.

Felt like it was already sort of a jinx but apparently not! In the grand scheme, those games probably mean more than the Celtics outcome. Feeling good!

The problem is at hand. Your best player is pg with great contract and a developing impactful game and this phenomenal-to-be draft is stacked with pgs. What will be your move?

Both Fultz and Ball are easily long enough to defend SGs. Each appear capable of catch and shooting too, as is IT. Only if-then pick would be Smith. Otherwise, not a problem.
Thanks Brad for answering my ad,
"Boston Celtics Barbershop, cutters wanted."
But after KP, your C play? You broke my heart Fredo.

Isaiah is safe..he's too good right now for Fultz to even make a dent in his game during his rookie year. My question is what the hell are you doing with Smart, Rozier and Bradley? You have to make a move soon..there's just no other way.

Him and Brown will collectively raise the effective height of our team by an average of one inch, from their flat tops.

Absolutely. If we get a top pick, then we either need to trade that pick for some front-court help, or we need to trade some piece(s) from the back court for front court help. We can't have a back court of IT, AB, Smart, Rozier, Jackson, Fultz/Ball and a below average frontcourt.

The Nets locking in on worst overall is the biggest thing that has happened in this rebuild since the trade that gave their picks to us.

He's probably safe, but that's not why. If they think Fultz is the guy, why would they invest in IT at big money vs trading him?

I'm also thinking that his value took a spike with the new CBA rules but haven't totally thought that through.

Me too, but not gonna trip. With the Nets worst overall, we'd get the following lottery odds.

1st - 25%
2nd - 21.5%
3rd - 17.8%
4th - 35.7%

Nothing more or less. Not gonna get mad at math no matter what pick we get. Totally comfortable with like 5-6 guys in this draft.

Problem is we still have to win lottery. At least worst record gets top 4.
