This is what I am thinking. Also, it means they make the playoffs so they don't get a lottery pick. Also, Kidd is an idiot coach so Brad should have his way with him. Then again, Hoiberg is no Brainiac.

The Raptors. Taking em out in the 1st round and the epic meltdown soon to follow on their board would be something for the ages.

That end of game play he drew up for Jimmy Butler last night was a thing of beauty.

I don't think he drew anything up. He probably just said "Jimmy iso"

Voted Bucks, but we'll take any of those teams -- and it won't take 7 to do it either.

The Celtics match up poorly against all 4 of those teams because of this team's rebounding problems. The Bucks are the weakest of those 4 teams listed though. I don't expect much from the Celtics during the playoffs if they don't address the rebounding problem.

team 3 point %

6. Bucks
9. Celts
10 Pacers
27 Detroit
30 Bulls

I'll take the Pistons. They're almost as bad shooting as the Bulls but they don't have anyone who scares me like Butler. They're trying to trade Jackson and Drummond is over rated. I'm a lot less worried about Drummond than Giannis, Butler or George. Stan Johnson, T Harris, Pope does not scare me at all.

I'll take Bulls next, then Bucks, then Pacers.

Pistons and especially the Pacers are IMO underrated teams I'd hate to face in the first round.

My first instinct was the Bulls - they aren't so challenging to defend and I am not big on their coaching & leadership. But while Giannis is a matchup nightmare, lets keep this simple...Bucks are arguably the worst team of the bunch to begin with, and they rank near the bottom of the league in rebounding. Bulls are near the top of the league in rebounding.

Our team remains arguably a little bit too dependent on rhythm...physically imposing defense and rebounding makes it much easier for an opponent to throw our rhythm off. Bucks don't have too much of that.

I don't care who it is. I just want to see if we can overcome teams taking IT away. My guess is...maybe? lol. I think we can get out of the first round but the true test will be the 2nd round. I hope there's a way we can avoid CLE and TOR until the ECF. If so, and we can have easy series, anything is possible in the ECF. Our spacing and Horford addition will prevent the lesser teams from taking IT away so bring on whoever it is.

Indiana for me. I would love to appreciate the privilege of watching Paul George play, while knowing our team will win.

We can now add Miami to the equation. Probably in place of Pacers if you want to think dropping to third seed is a no go.

Any changes of heart?

Out of those teams I would take anyone but the Pacers.

Bucks have inexperience and they will not get over the hump in a 7 game series but will also probably push us more than any of those teams.

Next I'd say Detroit. They play us tough but still are a first round exit.

Personally I think the bulls would be a sweep so that's my team to go against if they even make the playoffs.

Dark horse Miami Heat. I dont want to face them. Too much uncertainty there. I think we win overall but that one makes me nervous

Well, Bulls won't make the playoffs so I say Pacers next. Heat are playing so good, but so far this season we've killed them.

I went Pistons. Yeah, they'll get boards, but where do they go to get buckets when the really need one? Heat is probably next, though I think they are tougher than Detroit.

Pacers/Bulls you always gotta respect the chances of a team with what could be the best player on the floor some/most nights (ducks).

Against the grain, I want the Bucks least of all. That length playing playoff D really would close down all those little crevices IT sneaks into in the paint. Could be some really ugly scoring games in that matchup.

All that said, not a huge separation between the last 3, and think we beat any of them.

Edit: Fixed to say Pacers/Bulls, not Pistons...

I mentioned this a few months ago when they went that gazillion game win streak...Miami is the team I don't want to play. Those guys were competing for the top pick in the draft a couple months ago, now they're pushing for the playoffs? That's weird. Give me a team that's been consistently blah all year over this jekyll and hyde monster.

Anyone but Indiana...They imo are a lot better than their record. Would not want to face playoff PG, also they are deep and a veteran team.

In order of who I'd prefer to play:

1) Bulls- just can't shoot, think we can outplay them in 5/6 (Butler may steal a game or two for them)
2) Bucks- too young, no Jabari, they'll push us but we still take a series against them
3) Heat- I don't believe Dion Waiters is for real, think in the playoffs they get exposed
4) Pistons- just don't like their inside game against us, but we'd hack-a-Drummond our way to the 2nd round
5) Pacers- Between George and Turner, this is the only team I'd be actually afraid of. Just don't like the matchups there.

I think it'd be big to have a series where Al isn't too put upon, which is why the Bulls and Bucks are appealing to me. He's going to need his legs if he's going to have an impact in the later rounds and we saw what TT did to him last year when he was out of gas (it was ugly).

The eighth seed, whichever team that turns out to be.
