Sampras was my fav tennis player ever. Still remember that charity match a few years after he reitred where he beat Tommy Haas in an hour. Tommy was #1 in the world back then. He did beat Federer in a friendly match at the age of 35-36 if I'm not mistaking. Just such a fun style of tennis. Always in attack mode.
Hell even Nadal has been better in head to heads.

Give me Nadal over any of these great players ;) . And both Federer and Sampras have been amazing

Complete speculation but Nadal and Serena look like big juicers to me (mad respect to them regardless).

Wheras Sampras regularly defeated an all time great in his prime who was literally on meth.

That´s just your opinion ;) I just don´t agree

Good we managed to sign that Gordon Hayward guy. Who knows this might be our to make the Finals. #5yearslater #99 #itstartedinthedriveway
Good assessment:

It's actually super interesting to hear how his decision-making process worked. The level of detail he discussed about what he was doing and thinking at different points over the offseason makes me believe he really wasn't certain where he was going until after the visits, and isn't just saying it.

I'm only about 5 minutes in but GH sounds A LOT like Brad Stevens. I'm into it.

Probably can't fault Utah too much if they really did turn down trading him last summer.

They're both from Indiana. Makes sense they'd sound similar at least in terms of dialect.

I actually couldn't get past 5 minutes into Hayward's teleconference when he signed because of how similar he sounded to Stevens. Freaked me out.

Yeah but it's not just tone, it's cadence too. They have the same way of speaking. Sort of slow, considered, thoughtful. Similar vocabulary too.

Anyone else getting a Hayward jersey next year? I'm definitely going to and I'm not an IT fan so this will be my first "advertisement era" (NBA logo on the back) jersey.

Already ordered one, getting a Chinese knockoff for $20. Be here in a month. Supposed to be good quality from what I hear. The back is blank, may try to get a clover to stitch on.

Some of the jerseys on Celts site do have the clover already on for some reason. There's an IT authentic that for some reason has "CELTICS" on the road jersey, how's that authentic? He never wore that lol. Celts store blows.

Yeah, iirc all the women's IT merch has the pre ad-era Clover. He accidentally played a game in a pre-ad era jersey last year too. Some fools on here thought it meant something significant at the time

Can you PM me that website? It sounds dumb but the current (terrible) logo placement seriously pisses me off, to the point where I will probably find a way to remove it.
