Trade with GSW

Postby AdonalFoyle4Prez on Wed Jun 06, 2012 1:46 pm

Hi New Orleans Hornets fanatics,

I'm from the Bay Area California, but I'm a big-time Hornets fan (the days with Larry Johnson to Baron Davis to CP3), and like to see if this would be a fair deal for both sides.

GSW trades:
Dorell Wright + Jenkins (Maybe include a 2nd round pick?)

NOH trades:
Jarrett Jack

I think both sides would benefit.

Combo guard out of Hofstra. 6'2"-6'3". Built like a tank. Good mid-range game, Good FT%, and decent quickness and athleticism. Jenkins isn't going to get starting minutes behind Curry, and I do believe he'll turn out to be a pretty good PG. We're looking for a veteran backup PG. Since NO is somewhat in the rebuilding stages, getting Dorell and Charles will help them move into the right direction, in my opinion.

at SF weve got Ariza, Aminu and even Henry but i actually like Wright so id do the trade if instead of Jenkins you gave us the 30th pick. or preferably id do the 10 and jack for the 7.

I'd say Trevor and Dorell are pretty similar in natural skills. Both are athletic, decent ball-handlers, good defenders, and can shoot the 3s (though, Dorell has a better shooting touch since his days with Miami).

10 and Jack for our 7 might work. Then we'd look to get either backup PF/C.

Heard Okafor is being made available because of his fat contract. And the #10 pick will be included for any suitors to take up Okafor. I doubt GSW's FO do it, but if they did...

Okafor + Jack + #10 for D.Wright + Biedrins + Jenkins

Do you guys think that's fair?

no because okafor might be getting paid 4 million more than biedrins but okafor isnt a bad starting center in the league, biedrins is a bad backup center.
