Jason Smith Appreciation Thread

Post#1 » by Bee-Fense » Mon Nov 5, 2012 4:40 am

Throughout 3 games so far, Jason Smith has averaged 11.3 PPG, 4.0 RPG, 1 block, 60 FG%, with a 31.7 PER and leads the NBA in win shares per 48 minutes.

Of course, these numbers will not keep up.

However, ever since Jason has gotten to New Orleans, he has been the most energetic and perhaps the hardest working player I've ever seen on a Hornets team. He's continuously gotten better, and last season, showed he could be a very solid big off the bench. His play has continued to improved and he looks fantastic so far this season (and was the reason why we beat Chicago; 16 points on 5 shots)

Unfortunately, around the league, he gets very little respect. On the NBARank he was ranked below Hornets players that he is better than, and if you ask the average RealGM user, they could only tell you that he knocked down Blake Griffin.

IT'S TIME TO SHOW MY BOY J-SMIHT SOME LOVE

Agreed, the dude is a solid player, and always leaves it all on the court. That mid-range J has turned into straight $$$$ for him.

Being at some of the games you can tell he's a crowd favorite too.

Also want to nominate him as the whitest guy in the NBA (behaviorally + hair-wise)

Based on hair, the whitest guy in the NBA has to be Chase Budinger.
