Eric Gordon

Post#1 » by RiversideClips » Sat Dec 22, 2012 6:33 am

I saw an article where your coach, Monty was hoping that fans would forgive EJ about saying some things this summer.
As a Clipper Season Tix holder & fan, I will probably always side with EJ, He was a great player at the age of 20 leading a terrible team bogged down with under achieving players. Ej gets traded fom a terrible team to one that is worse, as a 22 year old who would want tha?t? The kid doesn't say much, he just lets his game do the talking; remember this is the same kid that went through the Kelvin Sampson fiasscco & never once thru his coach under the bus,`
EJ just isn't a great communicator in public, players see him on the court & follow. Please give this kid another chance NOLA, he will do you right; if the Clips could have him back, i'd take him. He will prove you wrong, he is a special player, who is tired of losing & RIVERS won't help.

why does the OP call him EJ instead of EG? Anyway, is Gordon still being held out of the 2nd of back to backs or is he expected to play tonight? Any update would be appreciated for fantasy league.

Paul Pierce has already said he wants no part of playing on a rebuilding team. No way both Rondo and Pierce would be moved in the same trade.

Eric is called EJ as in Eric Jr he always was called that here in Indy and at IU.

I know Pelican fans want no part of a Gordon/ Granger trade but still seems to make sense for both teams to bring home injury risk players.

Granger is too old for NO. How about George Hill, Stephenson and some picks?

if the blazers were interested in Gordon, what's the minimal amount it would take to make a trade?

#10 pick?

#10 and Matthews?

I'd like to see Gordon + Jason Smith to Clippers for Bledsoe and DeAndre Jordan, it works in the trade checker.

Are the Pelicans looking to trade Gordon and/or Anderson? If so, does anyone know what they'd be looking for in particular?

I really can't see us trading either guy. Gordon is a negative asset for us right now. There is no way a team would take his contract and also give us anything of value and just dumping salary is not something that is going to happen for many reasons.

Ryan Anderson is still young and has an extremely reasonable contract. No reason to trade him.

if Eric Gordon can pass a physical, I'm pretty sure the knicks would gladly take him and his contract. You guys would probably want Iman Shumpert back. I'm not sure the knicks would do that b/c Shump and EJ at the 2 and 3 for us is exactly what we need. But never say never.

Would you want a S&T of Brandon Jennings for Eric Gordon?

With Tyreke coming in, would you guys consider David Lee? Seems like you are trying to bring in some quality vets that will bring a winning attitude, and DLee definitely qualifies.

If the GSW gives up Klay in a Howard trade, I could see them being interested.

Is Marcin Gortat (a solid center) and Michael Beasley from Pheonix for Eric Gordon a good deal? I wish it would happen, especially with rumors that Morrow will sign with NOLA.
