3 game losing streak means they're ready to reel off some wins, right? :)

In other news...

Hornets' point guard, Chris Paul, now has his own signature shoe.

Jordan Brand, a division of Nike, says the Chris Paul shoe, will be released on March 1st at a suggested retail price of $115.

Paul says the shoe "reflects my inspirations in life" as it showcases personal moments in his life.

The "61" etched in the shoe symbolizes his grandfather. Just days after the passing of his grandfather, Paul played in a high school basketball game scoring exactly 61 points, one of each year his grandfather had lived.

The "SP" stitched on the backside of the tongue are in memory of his mentor and former college coach Skip Prosser.

The Jordan CP comes detailed with Paul's signature stitch; a bowling pin configuration on the ankle that spotlights his other favorite sport - bowling.

Paul says "having my very own sneaker has been a childhood dream. I am thrilled and honored to have this opportunity."

Which team did the Hornets beat to end their last 3 game losing streak?

That picture is something else. It captures all the details.. Peja taking the shot, how much time left on the clock, the score, and DEFENSE scrolling across the board.

Not surprised. The last meeting between these teams set the stage. I just hope Hornets fans go home very very happy. :D

No joke. I'm probably going to buy a copy of the print from NBA.com pretty soon and get it nicely framed by a local shop. Would look mighty fine in my office at home. :)

NOLA.com wrote:Bonzi Wells said before Wednesday's shootaround that he didn't think he would play against the Phoenix Suns tonight because of his sore Achilles' tendon.

However, Coach Byron Scott said it would be a game-time decision, and starting shooting guard Morris Peterson is questionable with a sore back. Wells and Peterson did not practice Tuesday.

"I think Mo is more likely to play right now than Bonzi, but we'll just have to wait until tonight,'' Scott said.

Probably going to need another big minute performance from the big 3 to stand a chance tonight.

While Bonzi hasn't been a factor anyway, maybe Mike James can come off the bench and give the Hornets whatever Bobby gave (hopefully James can give more than Bobby though). Right now it's almost like we won't miss Bonzi because it's only been 2 games and he hasn't done much yet. Of course he's still trying to adapt. Hopefully Mo can do a little something tonight. If not, who will come off the bench for him? JuJu? Sual? Or maybe Pargo. I forgot about Pargo.

James has looked better than Bonzi so far. Not saying much, but clearly neither have them have settled in. Nothing to get me excited for just yet anyways.

From Tyson's blog:

WELCOME BONZI AND MIKE
Once we get these new guys adapted to our defensive strategies and what we're trying to accomplish on the offensive end, I think we're better. These guys are veterans. They'll adapt pretty well and fairly quickly.

Our system is definitely a difficult system to adapt to, because it's all reads. There aren't necessarily spots you need to be at. It's really all based on reads. But we'll implement things that are going to benefit them.

I feel like, going into the playoffs, when we have offensive struggles, it'll help having a guy like Bonzi Wells to go to in the block, another post-up guy. He's also a big guard who can defend big guards. And then Mike James' quickness and his outside threat is also a good addition. I think the addition of these two guys will pay off in the long run.

Great win Hornets!

Nobody cares how Pargo looks. As long as he's hitting his shots.
