Derrick Byars could be a nice fit if he performs, wouldnt mind seeing Haluska light em up, and we definately need to see Julian and Hilton dominate!

griz fan here...

i am putting together an official summer league game thread for our game tomorrow on the grizzlies.com messageboard.....

Can anyone give me an educated guess on who will start for the Hornets? I was guessing Bobby Brown, Byars, Wright, Armstong, and Ebi....

What's up PhD Griz? Your guess is as good as ours because they never said who'd be starting but I'd also go with the guys you listed. If I find out anything different, I'll post it.

thanks....

and not much going on.....looking forward to seeing Conley, Mayo, Crittenton, and Arthur play your team in the summer league tomorrow.....

things have been kind of slow in grizland, despite having ~12 million in cap space....we did just sign Marc Gasol today to a reasonable 3 year, 10 million dollar deal.....seems down right cheap compared to the junk being thrown around this year (beno and diop at full MLE? maggette for 10 million a year? are you kidding me?)

Haha! I know what you mean when you say not much going on. We're still waiting to see who the Hornets will pull out of their free agency hat. Other than the CP3 extension (which was #1 priority), it's been really quiet on the Hornets front. Yeah I can't believe some of these guys are getting full MLE's. If I'm around I'll peek in on your summer league thread.

Both Hilton and Julian pretty much stunk it up tonight. But it's just a summer league game. Maybe they'll have a better game on Sunday.

Bobby Brown with the winning shot to go on to beat the Bobcats. He had a pretty decent game.

Bobby Brown has been looking pretty good in these summer league games. According to Marc Stein, the Hornets will offer him an invite to training camp.

The undeniable highlight of my time in Vegas was not having to do any forcing whatsoever to hype up my fellow Cal State Fullerton alumnus Bobby Brown as one of the smash-hit sleepers of the summer league..........

But he's also getting enough NBA interest now to conceivably land the guaranteed deal that would enable Brown to stay home. New Orleans wants to bring him to training camp and had CP3 call Brown himself to invite him to compete for minutes as Paul's backup. I'm hearing that the Warriors like him just as much, if not more, which must be why Golden State coach Don Nelson could be spotted at most of Brown's games.

Hornets get a win over the Cavs on a Larry Owens buzzer beater put back.
