Jamal carwford new SG

Post#1 » by Jcrawford11 » Mon Dec 22, 2008 4:00 pm

iam a big knick/jc fan just see u guys are a real nice team with 1 big weakness being the sg spot....i know craw will prolly opt out this summer......he would be a big boost for hornets give them a go to guy down the stretch......i would like to see him play for a team that actually wins.....he is known as a loseing player and i think thats wrong because he has never been in a winning situation....he started out 6 and 4 with knicks ....and boom gets traded.....i was just looking at roster thought hornets would be a perfect fit what do u think?

I'm not exactly sure of my feelings about Crawford. He can definitely score, no doubt about that. With Byron Scott being a shooting guard in his NBA career one would think he and the GM would go after an elite SG but I'm surprised that the SG spot is always the Hornets' weakest link in the starting lineup. I mean each position in the starting lineup doesn't necessarily have to be elite but it always seems to be the weakest in this teams lineup.

I always though Crawford would have been a good, obtainable guy to fill NOs SG spot. Butler and Mo Pete are just too inconsitent in my opinion. Maybe they could have went out and gotten him a few years ago instead of Peja.
Having Paul/Crawford/Posey/West/Chandler is a much better lineup in my opinion than Paul/Butler/Peja/West/Chandler, for now and especially the next few yaers.

Would be nice but never going to happen.

I wouldn't pay 50 mill, but I wouldn't mind him here. His damage can be minimized when he's not the primary ball handler. I would still have the ball in Paul's hand down the stretch, that's crazy to think otherwise.

Crawford is an awful fit. He is the most inconsistent shooter, who cant catch and shoot. He is only useful if you are desperate for someone to handle the ball for 20 seconds of a shot clock and hoist up a crazy shot that he makes 1-100 times.

Plus he plays NO defense.

if you guys think mo pete and butler are inconsistent then you will hate crawford and his inconsistency...lol

i like jamal dont get me wrong..he is just frustrating to watch because he could be very good but 1 night he will score 30 points and the next he will score 15 on 20 shot attempts.
