The Cards really have a great young core now with Colby Rasmus and The Koz. Sprinkle in some Rick Ankiel and they're looking pretty solid.

I still think Parker was the best pick so far for value.

But whoever takes Porcello will get the best value obviously.

The fact that Porcello has not been picked- to me- demonstrates what's wrong with the baseball draft.

well unlike the rangers the Angels and Tigers have balls both taking 2 of the best HS pitchers in the league. those teams arent afraid and will get a deal done.

dont get me wrong i like the beaven pick and main is ok but we couldve had the best draft but we were to afraid to pull the trigger, **** pussy's the story of the rangers franchise.

Drafts are made on the second day, studdy. Be patient.

They drafted Danny Ray Herrera on the second day last year, so they know what they're doing.

well BG maybe you're right but i have little faith in this organization (i dont blame john daniels much though many around here do, i blame our joke of an owner, past GM's and current coaches)

BG can you or someone else here explain why scouts are so infatuated with Julio Borbon? i cant get excited about a guy who had 6 walks all year and i think 9 in his 3 years when facing SEC competition.

Despite Porcello, I believe the Rangers had a tremendous draft, in the early rounds atleast. They snatched alot of high ceiling pitchers and hitters.

Who is Ben Revere that the Twins drafted? Also, how did their overall draft go? I just hope they didn't get another pirana, man do I hate Jason Tyner!

Not a fan of what the Giants did at all. No help for at least 4 years for an organization that needs A LOT of help now. Really let down.

You don't draft bases on the needs of your big league club. You draft the best player available.
