Any interest in Pablo Sandoval?

Post#1 » by radtech » Wed Jun 6, 2012 3:25 pm

He is a pretty good hitter that has batted over 300, hits from both sides, and provides the power numbers from 3B position. However as a young play, he still has a ways to go in controlling his eating habits. After the Giants' 2010 World Series win, he rededicated himself to get into shape and preformed great in 2011. Now 2012, the spoon and fork are his tools of the trade. His weight has affected his defense but his hitting has stayed. Still only 25 years old but has been warned to lose weight.

Would a trade of Sandoval and Aubrey Huff for Chris Davis, from the minors: SS/3BJonathan Schoop and 1B Tyler Townsend?

Doubt the Orioles would trade Schoop, he's probably one of their top 5 prospects. Interesting trade idea, as it would certainly solve the O's third or first base issues.
Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.

Return to Baltimore Orioles
