Gibbons' post game comments were pretty funny. He basically said he's been Mr. Un-clutch for his entire career so it was nice to convert for once.

Solid win, and another fine pitching outing.

Bedard's line for the night: 6 IP, 5 hits, 1 run, 4 walks, 9 strikeouts.

The team gave him enough offense, I would still feel more comfortable if they can add a run or two. Tejada is really struggling with runners in scoring position.
Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.

This team lacks fundamentals. Its like the Wizards almost. Tejada, for some reason decided to throw a one hopper to Gomez and the runner was called safe, giving the Royals another run. Unnecessary, just pick up the **** ball and throw it.

I was sitting there cheering for rain through the first 5 innings.

And then the unlikely hero Chris Gomez comes through with the 2nd o's Grand salami in 2 games.

Welcome to .500, O's!

Sunday's game was rained out, but they will get Tampa in Tampa for 3 games. Looks like it's going to be Loewen, Traschel and Bedard.
