I understand resting your starters for the Playoffs. But it makes me nervous. Hate the idea of going into a 1 and done game against another good team when we are on a losing streak. Even if it is not the starters who are playing. Think I would rather them have played maybe 4 innings or so. Just to keep in the "game mind-set" and perhaps get a few runs that would have prevented a loss. I think momentum is a big thing in sports and I hate the idea of giving it up.

Braves up 2-0 in the 4th, Prado RBI sac fly in the first, Uggla RBI single in the 4th. Ben Sheets made the start and pitched 1 inning, striking out 2. Avilan pitched an inning. Teheran has gone out for his second inning.

I realize Ben Sheets is going to retire after today but what's up with him only pitching one inning? I missed the game until now (bottom of the 5th).

I'm not really sure, after seeing him with 2 Ks in the 1st and hit 95 with the fastball, I was hoping he'd continue to pitch. Joe Simpson said that the Braves were going to use a lot of pitchers today.

4-0 Braves middle of the 6th, Chipper lead off the inning as a pinch hitter, singled to right, Braves then loaded up the bases with 1 out, Boscan RBI single, Chipper scored, Francisco sac RBI ground out, Heyward scored.
