Not bad, but I think we could have done better. Braves will have Russell through 2015, Andrew Miller is a FA at the end of the season. Bonifacio will be a better PH'er/bat off the bench than what Schafer and Doumit have done, which isn't much. He also adds speed to the roster.

Caratini would have been stuck behind Gattis and Bethancourt for years.

Considering the big names that were dealt this trade doesn't make me feel confident in our management.
The elite ownerships stepped it up today. The Cards always seem to add talent when necessary.

Best Wren could do under the limits he has placed on him. But does not give us what we need to really compete.

yea, I don't think many other GMs could do better under these circumstances. Man, if we actually had a legitimate owner, we could have another run like in the 90s. Especially with all the homegrown talent we produce year in and year out..

I think Bonifacio will end up taking CF from B.J. I am more excited about him than the lefty who can't get lefties out.
