Good thing the Braves kept 3 catchers on the roster with Stewart.

Julio Teheran at the top of the rotation is just a recipe for failure. This team won't get anywhere until it gets an actual pitching rotation.

Braves come back from being down 5-0 to win 8-5! Markakis with the walk off 3 run HR!


Same old same old from Teheran, 5.2 IP 4 ER 1 HR. We should have traded him a few seasons ago when he had some value. I expect he'll have a similar season to last season.

Knowing, last year, he was very, very good on the road and terrible at home, they start him at home.
Same results. Yet, the Braves, who have no home run power, hit three and win opener !!

It was a great win and a it's a great feeling to get it. I still have my doubts about Teheran and about Markakis batting cleanup.

Gabe Kapler pulling Nola after just 68 pitches of dominant ball to play the analytics was one of the most blatant cases of overmanaging I've ever seen.

I watched all of the game and it was relieve to see our offense come together and keep it cost. What a bottom of the 9th to give us the victory.

Time will tell about Teheran and Markakis but I feel the same.
The season will be full of adjustments even before the All-Star break.

That one will bite us in the ass for awhile. We had/have the prospects to get it done without completely leaving our farm system bare to the bone.

Hope to see a better outing from Folty tonight, then we saw from Teheran yesterday.
