Jon Paul Morosi of FOX Sports, citing a source, reports that the Dodgers have agreed to the players who will be sent to the Red Sox in the blockbuster deal involving Adrian Gonzalez.
Morosi's source says that James Loney, Rubby De La Rosa, Jerry Sands, Ivan De Jesus and Allen Webster will be sent to Boston. Meanwhile, the Dodgers are set to acquire Adrian Gonzalez, Josh Beckett, Carl Crawford and Nick Punto. Los Angeles will also get some salary relief. A deal will not be official on Friday night, as Beckett and Crawford need to waive no-trade clauses and medicals still need to be reviewed. The trade would also need approval from the commissioner's office because of the money changing hands. But all signs are this will get done.

Love this deal for the Red Sox.. We basically got bailed out by Dodgers as they pick up most of the money owed to them.. Sox got two of the Dodgers top pitching prospects... Only have 80 million guaranteed for next season..

got rid of 3 cancers and a role player in exchange for getting 270+ million dollars off the books so they can rebuild the team with talent that actually gives a **** and wants to be here, as well as top prospects for the future.

Completely agree!!! One thing that I realized as a player the Red Sox may go after is Choo from the indians what are your thoughts? They will unload him because they can't afford him and he is a stud!

The trade will save the Red Sox $275 million going forward. They will pay the Dodgers $12 million to offset some of the costs.

I hope we stay away from Hamilton... Too risky.. I would say go for Swisher to play 1st.. Choo for the OF.. Trade Ells for Andrus.. Sign a good starter

Swisher recently hinted that he wanted $100M in a new contract. Most every reaction out of NY after that statement was "nice knowing you Nick".
