Seems fair enough from a Cubs perspective. We are giving up less than I expected...really feared we would be giving up a top prospect.

Carpenter = middle relief prospect, strong arm, poor control...not a big loss.

It's not a huge loss. He's already 26 and has control/arm issues.

I never really thought we'd have to give up anything though. It's hilarious that the Sox were asking for Castro.

I'm relieved. Carpenter is a decent prospect, but not someone I regret losing.

Its cool, I'm sure the next few years will be us choosing pitching prospects.
