Took my 4 year old daughter to the game tonight, it was her first game. I have not been to a game in a few years, life gets in the way, but my wife and I kept talking about how dead it was. We were there for game 7 and people were falling out of the park is was so packed.... Anyway, it was nice to see Rizzo get into one and the look on my daughters face and her singing Go Cubs Go is something I will always remember and cherish. Especially since they lost the first time my parents took me :)

That's awesome! Moved to AZ last year and have taken my 6 year old to a fall league game, spring training, and cubs vs. d-backs (which also had the benefit of being Star Wars day too). Had a great time at all of them.

Awesome to see Rizzo back. I think we've secured a top 10 pick, so I would like to see a little continuation of the positive momentum.

Sweet. We took her to the Boomers game, used to be Schaumburg Flyers, a a month or so ago for Star Wars night and she loved it. I think she was more impressed though with Wrigley because bigger of course and she sees it on TV. She has had a hell of a week. Stayed up with me last night, Bears win. Cubs win tonight. I think I might have to take her to all Chicago home games except for the Sox :D

Oh and I stick by my 2016 prediction. I was not too sold on Rizzo until the incident with Chapmen. That was awesome and I loved seeing him stick up for his teammates. I think they have some power arms in the pen, you could hear the pop of the glove when Ramirez and Rondon were throwing tonight. I think this season is going to help Rondon a lot moving forward. And Baez swings HARD. Good God. haha Need a starter or two, get Bryant up, hopefully Russell pans out and Almora is at least above average and this could be the group.

Thanks. And I was complaining to my wife that Wood was throwing Monday and I wanted to see Jake. She saw the proof last night :)

And I couldn't stand Phillips before now.................
