Chicago Sun-Times - Cubs broadcaster Ron Santo was in good condition Sunday after being hospitalized Saturday night with symptoms of an irregular heartbeat.

Santo, 67, was undergoing tests but was hopeful of returning before the homestand ends Wednesday.

Santo has had a number of health problems in recent years, most related to his diabetes.

The sad thing is, he will probably get in once he dies becuase of the "sympathy" vote. But he had a lot of votes this last year.
