Pau Gasol to Lakers!

Post#1 » by GameTime_3 » Fri Feb 1, 2008 7:53 pm

One of are biggest rivals have just set the bar. Griz move Paul gasol to the lakers. Wow the Race for first pick just got harder. I think the grizz made a good deal. 2 first rounders,Javaris crinton and Kwame(expiring) for Paul Gasol.

Unreal.. I think it puts the Lakers over the top.. They are now my favorite to win the West

Fisher--Kobe--Odom-Gasol-Bynum

That's pretty nasty + their bench is pretty solid.. Farmar-Ariza-Walton-Turiaf-Mihm Vujiac, Rochmanovic its a REALLY good team

I really like this deal for Memphis btw two 1st rounders and they are clearing 10 million in cap space for next year and going to be in better draft position b/c of it.

Successful Trade
Scenario
Congratulations on a successful trade.
Due to Miami being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Miami had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

IMO the chances are better this time because they might consider trading Miller to add more to the cap space they got from the Gasol tade.

Lakers aren't a rival at all. Just media made B.S. I will root for the Lakers as long as they have Kobe and they're not playing Miami.

Anyways,

G - Fisher/Farmar
G - Bryant
F - Odom
F - Gasol
C - Bynum

That's lovely if it all works out.

This sucks! Kwame, Javaris Scrub and 2 1st Rounders?
We should have done that deal: JWill, Ricky and our 1st rounder for Gasol and Swift...c'mon Riley wake up!

We could use an expiring to pick up a PG from Memphis instead.

They now have Conley, Lowry, Navarro and Crittenton. Surely they won't keep them all.

Navarro is the only decent guy there...all others...I'd say that a turd can lead a team better.

Conley is going to be fantastic brazillian but they won't give us him. Lowry was looking really good and Critt could turn out to be better than all of them.

I'd take any one of the four

Trade Checker says that we could have traded Ricky and JWill for Gasol or them two for Gasol and Swift. Both trades work. Damn Riley!
