In terms of impact on a game, their big three = two Kobe Bryants.

Just because Memphis gives you $5 for every dollar you trade dont expect the rest of the league to.

To get Redd, it will cost you more then Odom, especially after his play in these finals.

That's your starting 5 without trading Odom. And thats a VERY VERY good defensive team.

One thing that wouldn't be too hard would be a possible Odom for Maggette trade.

You almost have a player to match any style then. You have a perfectly rounded offense and a great defense. Still need room for a more pure SG and a real C. See you don't even need to trade for an all-star because you already have your "2 and a half good players" before trading Odom. And you still have a MLE and first round pick to find those. This year it just doesn't seem to be the right mix.

That's absolutely right. Battier fits the bill. So does Butler, but our chances of getting him back are even slimmer than that of getting Battier. Gerald Wallace would be awesome, but good luck to Mitch calling MJ to propose that trade. At this point, Maggette seems like a very possible scenario.

Jackson and Artest can keep their seats. I would never want either one of them here, and I'm sure our F.O. feel the same way. You need a brain to play the tri. You need a good personality to fit in with the great chemistry we have. In that regard, and every other regard, Battier is absolutely perfect for us. He's the epitome of a class act professional and he plays great defense and knocks down his jumpers at a high clip.

Going into the series most people thought as a whole the Celtics Big 3 were better than the Lakers best 3. But the Lakers were big favorites b/c everyone thought Kobe would be far and away the best player on the court and too much for the Celtics which obviously hasn't been the case.

I actually think Artest would be perfect in the Lakers Triangle. Nasty, big,strong, and loves to play ball. I will take him over Battier any time. No disrespect to Battier, I just think that we need some toughness down there on the block.

All we need is Bynum--we looked super soft in the middle without him. However the sound of Puke Walton and Radman packing their bags for Artest sounds VERY exciting right about now.
