Something doesn't add up here.

Fixed, haha. My math isn't the greatest.

Wow Stern needs to collect the L and just move on. WNBA was a terrible idea.

Get rid of the WNBA and start using that money to give NBA players bigger salaries so they stop running off to Europe for bigger paydays.

A lot of WNBA teams are not owned by NBA teams, so that would not affect anything.
I agree it was a pretty stupid publicity stunt though, they could have at least given a young girl with a dream the chance to play.

young girls belong in bedroom not play without makeup and heavily clothed in an empty arena with a bunch of 30 year olds.

Oh really? I've seen plenty of high school teams that would beat the wnba all stars.
This league is in fact a joke.

No you haven't. I'm pretty sure you've never done anything but play basketball at the park with your friends so you don't actually have a clue how good professional basketball players are. There are probably some big time basketball prep schools with A teams that could beat WNBA players, but I have a hard time believing you've seen plenty of those.

I dont get what you expect these ladies to do, is women's college ball stupid too ?
They need somewhere to play it seems, they play a game they love all their lives ...then after college ball ...do we expect them to just quit ?
The ABA wasn't perfect when it first started either

Uh, she legit played for nine minutes last night. Check out the picture on NBA.com. it's gnarly. she had 0 points on 0-1 shooting with 2 assists and 2 TOs...........wow so lame.

I remember Don Nelson saying he'd sign a 50+ Wilt Chamberlain in the late 80s for the Warriors when he was an active beach volley ball player which kept him in excellent condition. Obviously Wilt had no interest in doing that.
The WNBA sucks as far as entertainment goes but I don't see many if any high school boys teams beating one of the womens' teams. I wouldn't waste a dime on the WNBA.
I would, however, pay good money to watch Courtney Paris wipe the floor with realgmers that would try to guard her in the post. She's 6'4' 240 lbs and her dad played lineman in the NFL.
