Versus strikes deal with the D-league and ABA. This means they will 16 D-league games on national televison.

I saw this. This is great news for a D League that seems to be expanding even during tough financial times. The business models have been fairly effective and they are really drawing crowds in some markets. (while they are subpar in others) I'm very impressed with the quality of basketball that is currently being played. This is just another stepping stone for them. I remember the old D league used to be on ESPN with the Greenville Groove etc.

Some D League games are currently on NBA TV and all games are live streamed on nba.com/dleague if you register for the Futurecast.

my question would be did the NBDL buy time (like the ABA), give their content away, or are they being paid?

i dont get versus but this is deffinitly good news for the NBDL

its great for the NBA to have a farm system, hopefully more teams will start to make better use of them.
