Sweater Vest Guy Interview
I didn't see this posted anywhere else, but the Sentinel has a brief video interview with Jack Nelson (The Sweater Vest Guy). He's the best.

Didn't think Jack was 85.
Also, I'm really worried about his healthy. He's lost a ton of weight since last year.

"Which ref would you say gives Dwight the hardest time? "
" Bob Delaney"
Says he gets a card with that nights ref crew on it. He knows who the horrible ones are.

I've never heard him speak before, so this is cool. Next time they should ask him to explain the origin of his famous double arm throw down.

Someone should inform him of this board's tradition after each win.

He and his wife are in fact aware of it. They get a really big kick out of it.

I always pictured him being grouchy. I don't like to see him smile.

that guy is what all fans should be like!
aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

me neither. he actually doesn't sound the way you would expect him to. i kinda expected him to sound like archie bunker or something.
he doesn't "sound the way he looks", if that makes any sense. i remember feeling the same way about maurice evans when he played for us.
