Down 7 with 3:21 to go, we need to play perfect ball and have things go our way if we're going to win.

Man, does this game bug me...From the record, it seems like the Blazers have our number, but I think we should be able to beat them.

I'm going to get off the computer before I end up punching some one out.

Blazers showing great teamwork with composed and confident play to close out the game. Hope the Clippers can close out games like this after some more experience on the road. Blake is playing a little out of control and needs to mature his game a little bit when the game slows down. The only reason we stayed in this game is because of EJ's great 2nd half effort.

They used a depleted bench to beat us

I also think the 3:30 AM landing really killed us...I would have let everyone sleep yesterday, and took the plane in the morning.

Blake has annoyed me in this game. Head not in it at all.

Blazers always closed out every quarter very well. I wish we had another game against them so we could beat them. Looks like we'll have to wait until next season.

Gotta look at this loss in retrospect...it's one of the best home court advantages in the NBA and Blake couldn't get it going. Blake should only be that much more motivated come next game against Golden State.

Agreed. He got his stats but really lacked on the defensive end. Should VDN start to limit his minutes? He's getting too tired and seems like he's reserving his energy on defense.

Is that really what we did, I thought the team took the plane ride today.

We officially lose, we will have to figure out how to win on the road. The losses to the Warriors and Blazers were not good efforts by us.

Another loss on the road.

Baron taking six three pointers is way too much(no matter if forced by the opponent or not) and our bench just flat out sucks.
To be successfull in this league you need to win on the road(we don't seem to be able to) and a guy off the bench at least scoring in double figures, which we don't have.

So all that maybe making the playoffs talk should be stopped, because that road trip will kill any vibe about it, if we can't find a way to win consistantly on the road.

I think Ralph Lawler said that on the radio broadcast.

Unfortunately couldn't carry the quality of play on the road. The defense was disjointed and Blake couldn't establish his interior offense in the game. Blazers executed too well and their guys got mostly what they wanted in the halfcourt sets.
