I was wondering about that too, but wasn't too worried about it. I got home right as Posey checked out and got a little curious as to why he was in since he didn't get any run against Toronto or Cleveland. But when I saw that he was only in for a couple minutes, that made more sense.

who would you have put in at that point given that Roy was in foul trouble so Jeff or Josh had to play center and Aldridge was killing Ty? going with Posey caused Portland to go smaller and we got through a rough spot in the game. that was not O'B playing small ball. that was FV making the best of a bad situation. Posey being the veteran he is made it work.

personally...i would have put danny at the 4..who is bigger and stronger and a better player than posey with jeff at center and paul at the 3....if i was coach, only way posey would get in would be at an absolute necessity

LeBron James/Danny Granger/Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
Dirk Nowitzki/David West

What? Are you insinuating that Aldridge was somehow scoring on Tyler? If so.. Aldridge was not " killing " Tyler by any means. He didnt score a point against him until a late foul that happened shortly before Tyler fouled him out of the game.

Makes me think some people dont even watch the game.

Aldridge was abusing McRoberts early. It stopped once they brought in Hansbrough.

As shaky as the stat is when it's within 5 points, every starter was in positive double-digits for plus/minus except McBob, who was all by himself -4. Hansbrough was +4.

Aldridge was a tough matchup for both of them at both ends of the court. Ty did make a great play though when Aldridge got his 5th foul by driving right at him and fouling him out.

did I watch the game? yup, I was in my regular seat (section 19, row 17, seat 18). Pacers were at the opposite end the second half though so you guys who watched on TV may have seen some things I couldn't. from my vantage point though I thought bringing Posey off the bench when Roy got that foul seemed reasonable considering who was fresh and who wasn't and who Portland had on the floor.

It was mainly appropriate because Portland had a wing at the 4.

doesn't really matter but the way I remember it Portland pulled Przybilla when they saw Posey checking in. so they matched down.
