Jax expires soon enough, eh? If Bogut is healthy, he and Lee make a decent backcourt, no?

What else am I missing?

Mark Jackson should have waited a year to begin his coaching career and came here.

To really add further insult to Bucks fans apparently Squad 6 is immediately disbanded. They can pay to keep there seats, but otherwise its over.

You would think that you would just pay the bill for the rest of the year and name it after another player.

This has got to be one of the worst trades I have ever seen. I think it is appropriate to say (even as a Bobcats fan) that its good to NOT be a warriors fan. The Bucks are getting a premier scorer, a solid prospect/role player, and a decent bench player at the cost of a injury prone center and a jackass. The Warriors arent even getting a draft pick out of this trade. Regardless of how badly Jennings matches up with Ellis the Bucks still committed robbery- because either they can trade Ellis for a fortune or they can trade Jennings for decent players. If I'm the Bucks Ive also gotta believe that I have the best shot at landing Howard now- no other team can match an offer that features Jennings/Ellis/Ilysova or even just a combination of 2 of those players plus draft picks that the Bucks can.... Also for many teams Jennings would be a upgrade at PG- and with Ellis in town the Bucks have to be considering trading him for a potential 1st rounder plus a role player- the Lakers, Celtics, Raptors, Mavericks, Magic, Hornets, Suns (if they are stupid enough- which they are), and Hawks all have a need that Jennings can fill.

Lakers: You know that they want another chuker....
Celtics: Jennings could bring some youth/offense at the bench- and they could probably get away with trading Ray Allen for him (which is a pretty good trade for both teams)
Mavericks: Not an optimal destination- but Jennings would be an upgrade.
Raptors: Perhaps not so much an upgrade to Calderon as providing the Bench with some scoring capabilities- which the Raptors desperately need.
Magic: PG play has been terrible this year- Jennings brings some excitement outside of Howard to the offense.
Hornets: Jennings isn't going to replace CP3- and would match up poorly with Gordon- but the Hornets need someone at PG- and Jarret Jackson isn't the answer.
Suns: I know you guys are like "how?" but if the Bucks were to offer Jennings/player2/pick for Nash I think the Suns would bite on it. Imagine how scary a Nash/Ellis/Ilyasova squad could be in the playoffs?

In regards to trade assets the Bucks have more than any other team can offer.

this is one of the worst trades I've ever seen. I don't get it for both teams, except for the Warriors if they wanted to get rid of Ellis.

Yeah it looks like there was a fair bit going on behind the scenes with Ellis.
He seemed very happy to be traded and his comment of "I knew they wouldn't trade me to a playoff team" was interesting.

I'll thank you to never mention Mark Jackson and the Bobcats in the same sentence again.

How does this trade Not make sense for the Bucks- Bogut has been unhealthy and Jax a HUGE distraction- hell the fans HATE him. In this trade they get a talented 2 guard who isn't a complete ****, grab a promising role player who can play solid defense off the bench, and get a backup center who though an underachiever isn't a **** like Jax. Sure they lose Bogut- a guy who is solid but injured WAY too frequently.
While Ellis doesnt make a great pairing with Jennings- he could make a great pairing with a solid point guard that could become available via trade, free agency, or the draft in the near future.
For the bucks this trade isn't about how great each piece fits into their team now- its about how great each piece could fit into their team in the near future. If the bucks make the playoffs but lose in the first round their draft selection should still come early enough to grab a guy like Myck Kabongo, Damian Lillard, Tony Wroten, or such.
Not to mention that there are some high end Free Agent PG's this upcoming off season- just to name a few:
Steve Nash
DJA
Raymond Felton
Gorran Dragic
Chauncey Billups
Ramon Sessions (can you say perfect fit?)
Mo Williams
Andre Miller
(Solid PG FA class!)

I would go so far to say that the Bucks got away with Grand Theft Trade in this one. I could have gotten away with killing a kitten, laughing during a funeral, punching a toddler, spitting in the pope's face, and taking a **** on Obama's car all in the same day and STILL not have gotten away with as much as the Bucks did with this trade..... Bravo to them for making a trade- considering that the Warriors went from having Ellis involved in Dwight Howard trade talks to giving away Ellis, Udoh, and Brown for an oft injured- aging Bogut and a jackass who gets drunk before games- the Bucks got away with an absolute crime.
