I was at the game and knew you got screwed on those goaltends. Don't worry though thr Jazz aren't making the playoffs

he never forces shots, but his 3's are there because HE'S there, ie he's not in the paint. staying in the paint and going out to receive a pass for a 3 is a lot different than staying outside around the arc.

Now with Rubio out, no deadline deals, and this lazy heartless brand of basketball, I don't see it this season.

Webster, Barea, Ridnour, Johnson, Ellington, etc. aren't going to carry us very far. We cannot count on Love, Pekovic, and Ridnour every night to carry this team to the playoffs. We're going to see a lot more fight out of teams like the Nuggets, Rockets, and the Jazz from here on out. They look like they want it more than us right now.

I was actually quite calm while posting this. I don't see how I'm overreacting here. It was a bad night for everyone. I get that. It's going to happen. Unless Michael Beasley helps carry this team like he should've been doing from the get-go, I don't see how losing Rubio and having teams in the hunt like the Rockets & Nuggets getting stronger at the trade deadline helps us.

Whatever happens, playoffs or not, I'm not bashing anything that we've accomplished this season. I'm damn proud of this team this season. We're going to be a deep playoff team next season, but for this season, I'm not seeing the 8th seed. Hopefully I'm wrong but we'll see.

The post seemed a little dramatic considering we lost in overtime on the road.

That game was lost in the 4th. Matter in fact, we were pure ass that whole game. We had a two game break and the Jazz were coming off a tough road loss the previous night. I just expected a little bit more of a fight out of our team. Onto the next one.

Weren't we down 12 with 5 minutes left? Looking at the boxscore, we outscored them by 6 in the 4th. We may not have played well, but we didn't give up.

That was the story of the whole game. We kept cutting the lead to 1-3 points and then the Jazz would go on their run (their run was in OT). By the time we caught up, we continued to play lazy defense and took poor shots down the stretch. I'm glad that we in fact did comeback when it mattered but we looked gassed after that run. That Millsap bunny should've been the dagger. We practically threw the game away on that play. Just so happened he missed it and we didn't take advantage. Hopefully we put up a bigger fight against the Lakers.

I only saw the first quarter, but we started out very sharp carrying over from the PHX game. Not sure where it went from there, but Utah is a tough place to play. There's a reason they're 16-6 at home and 5-16 on the road.

We also didn't have Beasley who probably would have been the difference in the game when you see how ineffective the alternatives were.

The Lakers beat Miami, then lost on the road to Detroit and Washington, then beat us and Memphis in overtime. It's an up and down season.

Yes, but Love is consistently battling for boards. It's not like he just roams the perimeter, and when shots go up scrabbles to the paint. If that were the case he would never grab any O boards. Love is usually the primary screener because of the attention he draws at the arc. It opens up the point guards, wings and post. He actually cuts more than outsiders think. The pocket pass to either Love or Williams is a very popular option after the pick and roll. Plus Love passes a lot out of the post because of the emergence of Pek. Pek is on of the few guys who cuts hard near the basket and gives Love an easy target. Love would get a lot more assists as well if Wes or Webster were consistent.

I couldn't believe how Wes and Webster were totally blind on that play. Milsap goes right by them and neither reacts. We didn't take care of the ball, and poor rebounding killed us. I was very surprised we got back in the game at all.

Considering that love, Pek, Luke and jj are the only ones who played well, we did all right.
