I disagree about McClelllin. He'll surprise.
Swap wolfe & wynn positions.
I like Martin but he'll be gone early.

Green Bay was awarded two fourth-round compensatory picks, as well as a seventh-rounder.

It's actually two 4ths and two sevenths. Being discussed in the off-season thread.

SUMMARY
SELECTED – REMAINING - STATUS
66 selected - 29 remain – 17 starters – 7 Pro Bowlers
1 MVP - Rodgers
3 Pro Bowl = Collins, Matthews, Jennings
3 Alt Pro Bowl = Raji, Sitton, Hawk
1 near Pro Bowl = Finley
5 solid starters = Nelson, Bulaga, Crosby, Lang, Bishop
4 trial starters= Newhouse(5), Burnett(3), Starks(6), Cobb(2)

BUST FACTOR
Busts in early rds hurt. And you can’t really call a rookie drafted in 5th or lower a bust as the odds are against them anyway. Of those no longer with the team - in the top 4 rds, four players had career ending injuries and 4 more were OK but just not good enough to justify being resigned for a higher salary. Basically in the top 4 rds TT had only 5 out right busts.
Harrell, Brohm, Hodge, Rouse, Barbre (Neal almost)

CRITICAL POSITIONS
While all positions are important, various positions are more crucial than others. Having success drafting a QB will do more for you than a S or TE. Here TT has really stood out. He’s nailed Pro Bowlers at QB and a 3-4 defense’s 2 most critical positions of NT & OLB. Plus at offense’s 2nd most critical – LT – he has two young prospects. Plus in a passing league TT has shown skill at snagging receivers at both WR & TE. Additionally he got Pro Bowlers or Alts at G, S, ILB & OLB. His challenge seemed to be at CB & DL. (TT more than made up for poor CB draft with FA = Wood. Will, Sam – also Pickett at DT – but FA is another story) 2012 needs a good DL draft.

My favorite bit of trivia about TT is that his first two picks were Aaron Rodgers and Nick Collins. What a way to start a re-build.

I am beginning think the Packers could draft Dont'a Hightower and move him to the outside......he appears to be back from blowing out his knee and is capable of playing every LB position.

That's a possible pick. Kick him back inside if you can't get anything done on the outside. Would cause a bit of a log jam at ILB with Bishop, Hightower, Hawk, and Smiff.

Hightower's not fabulous in coverage either.

I could see it too. At the very least we get an upgrade over Hawk in a year if he proves ineffective at OLB.

I still think Hawk is the 3rd best ILB on the roster. We really needed to trade him to the Eagles for the deal the Texans got.

It'll be interesting to see how Alshon Jeffrey does at his pro day tomorrow. I would love him on the Packers. Back shoulder throws all day. Too bad we don't need any WR's

I like Branch and Mercilus at our spot, although we might have to move up a few spots for either.
