I hope i m wrong. But at 8th/9th, I think Dumars will draft someone like Sullinger who may be ready to contribute right away, still relatively young(still 20) and is not a "reach" at our range.

To Dumars, drafting someone like Tyler Zeller or Sullinger may be less risky, n Sullinger may have higher ceiling among the two

PJIII(motor?rebounding?post d?, Henson(strength?), Meyers Leonard(motor?mental toughness?rebounding?) n MCAdoo/Terence Jones(athletic tweener/no position in NBA(see Marvin Williams, Derrick Williams, Jeff Green, Aminu n Beasley)? post d?) all have their red flags, PJIII, Henson n Meyers Leonard may have higher celing than Sullinger n may be better fit next to Monroe, but they all have much much higher bust rate. May have wasted our 1st round pick

At our draft position, its not easy to find a future allstar, just rather play safe n draft someone serviceable n low bust rate. Ceiling/Potential? Who give a f if most of the options have red flags all over them. PJIII, Lillard, Henson, Meyers Leonard, Terence Jones, Lamb ...all of these players have some serious red flags n u always wonder their future in NBA, that means they hv a high BUST potential

No to tweener...i dont want anyone who plays relatively well at either SF/PF position in college. Looking at Marvin Williams, Derrick Williams, Jeff Green, Aminu n Beasley who were all drafted high, they all struggle to find a natural position in NBA n are all BUSTS

Mock, i consider teams need:

Update:

1) New Orleans - Anthony Davis (6'10'', PF, Kentucky, Fresh.)

2) Charlotte - Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (6'7'', SF, Kentucky, Fresh.)

3) Washigton - Thomas Robinson (6'8'', PF, Kansas, Jr.)

4) Portland - Andre Drummond (6'11'', C, UConn, Fresh.)

5) Toronto - Bradley Beal (6'4'', SG, Florida, Fresh.)

6) Sacremento - Harrison Barnes (6'8'', SF, North Carolina, Soph.)

7) Cleveland - Perry Jones (6'11'', SF, Baylor, Soph.)

8) Detroit -Jared Sullinger (6'9'', PF, Ohio State, Soph.)

9) Utah(from Warriors) - Damian Lillard (6'2'', PG, Weber State, Jr.)

10) Milwaukee - Tyler Zeller (7', C, North Carolina, Sr.)

11) Portland - Jeremy Lamb (6'5'', SG, UConn, Soph.)

12) New Orleans (from Wolves) - Kendall Marshall (6'3'', PG, North Carolina, Soph.)

13) Pheonix - Terrence Jones (6'9'', SF/PF, Kentucky, Soph.)

14) Houston (from Knicks) - Meyers Leonard (7'1'', C, Illinois, Soph.)

possible lottery picks:

Austin Rivers (6'4", SG/PG, Duke, Fresh.)
John Henson (6'11", PF, North Carolina, Jr.)
Arnett Moutire (6'11", PF, Mississippi State, Jr.)
Royce White (6'8", PF)

Sullinger may be a bad fit next to Monroe defensively, but his offensive game is well polished is a good rebounder.

He is young for the draft class, can contribute in NBA Right away, n is probably the BPA at 8th.

I dunno, I don't want him, but I m pretty sure Drummond, Robinson, Davis, MGK n Beal will be gone

Im ok with Sullinger @ 8 or 9, its not far fetched to see him potentially being better than Monroe. I can't say the same about Zeller and Henson. I wouldn't mind even taking K Marshal at the same spot but I highly doubt Joe will do it for the same reasons he passed on Jrue Holiday for Daye.

I really don't want Sullinger. If we end up with him maybe someone would bite on Sullinger and Singler for someone one or two picks higher? Hopefully lol.

What if our 8th pick goes to Tyler Zeller or Meyers Leonard?

Tyler Zeller can be a two-way big man who can contribute both on the defensive n offensive end

Henson is the type of guy I think Joe will fall in love with. He wanted Thompson or Biyombo last year. I know he wasn't expecting Knight to be there, but I'm not sure who was higher on his big board. So I think (and personally hope) that he'd trade back if no one slips from the top five or maybe even reach for Henson. If it's the right pick (which is really hard to tell) then a reach isn't bad.

And if I had to pick, I'd take Zeller over Leonard. I wouldn't be happy, Zeller doesn't have much of a ceiling, but I see Leonard's ceiling are a broke man's Brooke Lopez (and I don't think he'll even get there). I don't want Leonard. If he proves me wrong more power to him, but I'd honestly prefer it happen on another team. I really don't want to **** up this draft.

:x

I won't be happy with Sullinger at 9 but id take him. I'd rather have Moutrie if that is the way the board falls. Pistons need an athletic forward next to the Monroe. No way Toronto takes Beal witH DeRozan at the 2 esspically when they need a small forward and point guard mostly.
