http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/blog/_/n ... final-fourNot a ton new or unexpected here, but thought I'd post anyway.
Davis: lock for #1
MKG: 2-5
T. Robinson: top 5
T. Jones: 8-14
D. Lamb: late 1st
Sullinger: "just below top 10 consensus"
M. Teague: late 1st this year, possible lottery next year
Withey: 2nd rounder
Blackshear: 1st rounder 2013

I just wish everyone could enjoy the ride. I see both sides believe me. Seed and situation never concern me. It's in or out. That's all

Doron Lamb has definitely played his way into the first. I was hoping to be able to pick him up in the second.

He just wanted an extra 5 minutes to embarrass the Bucks more.

My top 5
1. Davis
2. Robinson
3. Beal
4. MKG
5. Barnes
Thoughts:
- Davis is pretty awesome. His D is spectacular, he's more of an out-of-area rebounder than I thought, he's smart, he's tough, unselfish. But please, stop with the talk that he could be up there with Duncan or Dwight. As Duderino has said, Camby is a closer comp.
- Robinson is a monster. If he was Davis' age I would take him number 1.
- Beal has all the tools to be a star, but his lack of assertiveness could be an issue. MKG is a safer bet imo, with a little less upside.

Sullinger officially enters draft. Hopefully that pushes someone down to us, I really don't want anything to do with him.

I still think he'll go before our pick, even if we miss the playoffs. But maybe that is just me hoping. I do not want him. He is completely thrown off his game by ANY kind of length, and I don't think he can guard either PF or C.

Sullinger is a shorter, fat Al Jefferson (after knee surgery) offensively, and Boozer defensively. I think he drops out of the lotto after workouts unless he shows up at the combine in phenomenal shape.
Just saw Chad Ford's update with scouts wondering if Sullinger might be the next Glen Davis, ouch.

I would take Sullinger if he slips to us. He can really play, imo, though he is annoying. I feel like you could blank out all the names and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between his critics and Kevin Love's.

I'm not a fan but David Thorpe loves him and I respect his opinion quite a bit.

I'm not saying I care, as I want BPA, but where would play Sullinger? With Ilyasova in the starting five?

I loved Love and hate Sullinger, FWIW.
Annoying does not even begin to cover it, in my mind, but above all else his lack of testicles really bothers me about him as a prospect given what type of player he is trying to be.

Sullinger is crafty, and I think he will adapt to the taller and more explosive opponents in the NBA and still find a way to score around the basket. There is always a need for post scoring, and Sullinger has great hands and very good moves on the block. But I echo the concerns that he will always be a liability against top tier NBA power forwards. He won't be able to stay in front of guys like Blake G, and even lanky vets like Bosh and Garnett will be able to shoot over him easily.
I think he will surprise a lot of his haters, but I don't think he is anything special in the NBA.

I'm not sure. I'm definitely not claiming he's a great fit with us. I would probably play him at C. I just see a big body with good feet, great hands and a nice big man skill set. You'll definitely have to work around his limitations defensively, but he's no dummy and that should help a lot.
I mean, what's going to keep him from being as good or better than Scola? I just can't picture what it might be. Just being a cooz, I guess? I realize that people want to aim higher than that. I would also want to make sure he checks out medically, of course.

Also, I just noticed we've dropped to 12th in the lotto standings. Ick.

I don't want to give the impression that I like him as much as Love, who I was crazy about to a level not experienced since for a non top 3 prospect. Love was a surefire very good player to me. Sullinger to me is a likely good player.

Could Sullinger turn out out more like the guy we traded Dirk for? Thats what scares me the most.

Your Milwaukee Bucks. Where the 8th Seed = the only goal for the Milwaukee Bucks.
