I'd like to see something like that in the locker room Tuesday.

It could be worse for the 6ers. I think the refs have a worse 'team' this year. There's a locked thread showing Chris Paul running into Marc Gasol, crumbling to the floor, and Marc got called for a foul. Not sure why it was locked, maybe the mods were glad the Griffin flop thread is history and didn't want a rerun. it's bad this ear. Fouls need a reviewer in the booth or something, and refs need grades. Some should be in the D-League.

Monta only played in playoffs once in his career + had a better team than Iguodala ever did...what's your point?

History has shown it is very difficult to win championships with a team built around an undersized gunner. Ellis as a complimentary piece is intriguing, but he would have been the man in Philly, which would not have worked.

no point at all... im just saying that Iguodala is no more of a winner than Ellis imo.
If im gonna be stuck watching a mediocre basketball team...id much rather watch Ellis play, then Iggy's god awful offense.

your opinion. not a fact.

http://www.depressedfan.com/basketball/ ... m-list.php

Imo, I have watched enough Warriors basketball to not want to be stuck watching him doing his best to imitate Iverson night in & night out.

Iguodala got an all-star apperance, all-rookie first team, all-defensive second team, & a world championship gold medal.

Monta has won most improved player.

I respect Monta's scoring ability, and in my opinion would be a better fit between Jrue/Iguodala, but saying Monta is more of a winner than Iguodala is pure non-sense.

i dont think you can quote me saying Monta is more of a winner...because i never said it.

I said Iguodala isnt exactly a winner either. If Iggy was on the warriors instead of ellis, i highly doubt they would have made the playoffs either. The west actually has more than 3 teams in it and usually requires an above 500record to get in.

his all star appearance was more because of the team he was on and the hot start...his stats certainly werent worth the nod imo.

im not gonna bicker over whos better. all i said was, Ellis would be a better fit with our team over Iguodala IMO and it would be more enjoyable for me to watch someone capable of scoring 50 points on a mediocre basketball team than someone who scores 12 and is awful on offense.

whatever, scoring is sexy, defense is not in the eyes of the casual fan.

First off, its much more difficult in years past to make the playoffs in the west then the east. In the the past you had to win 45-50 games to make the playoffs in the west. But in the east, all you had to do was win 40 games. The talent level was vastly slanted towards the west for years. I still feel that way. The east has 2 very good teams. Where the west has SA, OKC, Dallas (won last year), and the Lakers. Right now, the east has 8 teams over .500. Where the west has 10 teams.

Now, to say that Iggy has led the Sixers to the playoffs is a joke. The Sixers haven't been over .500 since when? Ellis has always played on a team that has to compete against much better competition.

just because you say something over 10 million times, doesn't make it true.

if Iguodala is such an unworthy player, he would not get any recognition across the league. unless, of course, you believe the entire leagues' coaches, scouts, GMs are all retards.

true, the West has better competition, but the only year Monta made it to playoffs, he wasn't the main guy and his team was filled with adequate players (go google that year's Warriors roster). when Monta was the leader, the team wasn't even close to getting to 8th seed.

if east is so weak and our whole team is so untalented, by your logic, Iguodala & Co. shouldn't even be able to sneak into playoffs. And no one thinks he led us to playoffs...we've always been a team with no superstar.

so at the end of the day, it's just your same old enormous hate towards Iguodala and you can keep on hating him for all I care.

i just don't pretend to think Monta is the better player.
