Fell asleep at halftime. Missed Rip owning NY. I'm mad.

Boozer's defense=atrocious. Hmmm. He guarded Chandler almost exclusively, who barely scored during Boozer's twenty-some minutes in the game. His fouls were largely in the act of playing help defense ... vs. a Douglas or Fields who had blown by their primary defenders. He led the team with three key steals that led to scores on the other end. The atrocious claim is simply unwarranted. Over the last two seasons, the Bulls have the best record in basketball. I don't recall that being the case in the years immediately before his arrival.

Hit up ESPN3.com. I have the app on my Xbox and watched the entire replay last night.

It's amazing how many people on this forum were proclaiming that rip would be a non factor when he came back and that we should just roll with starting brewer for the rest of the year. Looks like the rust is comng off. I can't name 10 shooting guards I'd rather have for the playoffs this year.

I will give you that the Knicks are a sham of a defensive/rebounding team.

You are correct, the Bulls played relatively poorly. Their defensive rotations on the interior were as bad as they've been in a game under Thibs.

And they won by 12.

Reading through the game log, its not as bad as I remember. The poor play started 3/24/12 where the Bulls beat Toronto on a last second shot by Deng. That's a span of 9 games where Chicago is 5-4.

True, but if you look at those games you had Watson playing well. It may have been before his concussion or ankle injury that he got. Then you had 3-4 games where Lucas played way out of character that definitely gave the Bulls a spark and win.

In this 9 game span, the back-court has really struggled and has been exposed by opposing defenses and PG's in general.

And there have been a decent amount of PG's that have kind of taken it to us in Rose's absence recently.

If Korver played yesterday, every game. He would be making 10 million dollars a year.

The Knicks win every game that they try in, the problem is that they only try half the time. But when playoffs come and they try every game, they will dominate. Fo, fo, fo, and fo.

Watched the game again this morning. All i can really say is that we won and Iman Shumpert committed about 21 fouls and got called for 5 of them. Good defense is good defense but this kid just hand checks and shoves guys constantly and doesn't get called for it. It's almost as bad as Lebron with his off arm on offense committing dozens of blatant fouls nearly every time he touches the ball and drives. 21 Shump St. gets away way too much on D. It's really becoming annoying.

Thank God for JR Smith is all can say. Jon Barry said it best when he said.... "JR Smith is great.... if you;re a Bulls fan". He just keeps making stupid play after stupid play and chucking bricks. the Double Agent Lives! Thank God he's on the Knicks.

oh, and has anyone else developed a burning hatred for Tyson Chandler and his reactions after every play? What a tool that guy is.

the funny thing is Melo is much less effective when Amare is on the court with him...getting Amare back might actually hurt them.

Yeah, I noticed it a lot last year that Tyson never seems to think he commited a foul.
