Around the NBA VIII: Shortened Season Edition

Postby Rerisen on Thu Apr 19, 2012 4:10 pm

Old Thread.

Games tonight:

Milwaukee at Indiana
Minnesota at Detroit
Houston at New Orleans
Chicago at Miami
LA Clippers at Phoenix

Milwaukee is about dead. But if they could win tonight, they still have an outside shot. They play Philly yet, and Philly plays Indy tomorrow.

Houston still fighting for that 8th seed out West.
"There are those in his camp who don't think he should play at all this season, for a couple of reasons: first, and foremost, the Bulls don't have a championship-caliber roster."

Good. Certainly don't want Houston's hopes to start fading before they get to play Miami.

So according to the WT, Allen is unlikely to return to Boston next season. I've long felt that he could easily end up being the final piece of the puzzle. He really should be the number one FA target.

Any criticism you have for Kevin Love is no longer valid

Most definitely. But knowing our luck father time finally catches up with him the moment we get him.

Shouldn't the Bulls have burned through like 3-4 years worth of bad luck this season with all the injuries? The team is due for a run of good luck with player health.

I jizzed in my pants at the thought of this.

Its been good either Brew or Kyle, but you one of you will need to leave (my preference is for Brew to be out).

Did anyone catch the end of Inside the NBA? I found it hilarious that Ernie had a car accident on set. I hope someone YouTube's it so I can laugh all over again

Lakers vs Spurs tonight. It seems like these two teams have been playing each other every night recently.

Cavs up by 9 on the Knicks at the half...if they can keep it up and defeat the Knicks, then the Sixers play @Indiana tomorrow to pull even with the Knicks. Race for 7/8 not over yet.

I looked at the Knicks-Cavs score and the first thought that came to my had was that Amare is back. Yep.
