Was not surprised with last night's outcome. Scrappy Cappy owns us. I already had that penciled in as our loss this series, hopefully we can win the next two. Worried about tomorrow and Ted Lilly though as he has been great this season and could easily shut us down. If we get at least one more win and go home with a 4-3 west coast trip, I wouldn't be disappointed.

Some good news.

The Braves are targeting Tim Hudson (back) to come off the disabled list Sunday against the Pirates.
As expected. Hudson had a 4.50 ERA and 5/4 K/BB ratio in 12 innings over three minor league rehab starts and is well worth adding wherever available, especially with the tasty matchup against the light-hitting Buccos. Randall Delgado appeared vulnerable to lose his spot upon Hudson's return, but he'll stick around for a little longer now that Jair Jurrjens has been demoted to Triple-A Gwinnett.

JJ was once my favorite Braves pitcher but I am not sad to see him go to Triple A. Sorry, just the truth. Maybe Teheran get's a chance this year also. I thought Mike Minor was the minor league pitcher, guess I was wrong.

JJ to Gwinnett! Wow! Did not think the Braves front office had the brass to do what was necessary.

I just knew Kemp was going to haul Prado's hit in but thank goodness he didn't. Let's go out and win this series tomorrow night!

Another comeback win, the way Chipper can look awful to start an AB and make adjustments and get a clutch hit is bordering on unbelievable.

Another come from behind win! Huge!

What is most impressive is that the 2 games we took from the Dodgers are their only 2 losses at home so far this year. They are tough to beat at Dodger Stadium.

It's not THAT impressive, the Dodgers were 6-0 at home before the Braves series, it's not like it's August and they didn't lose a home series all season. Plus the two teams that they faced at home were the Pirates and Padres.

There's still reason to be excited, the offense has looked better this year than it has in a long time, have to believe the new hitting coaches are finally doing what Larry Parrish and TP couldn't do the past few years.
