Evan Turner At It Again

Postby Wharton Alum 08 on Wed Apr 25, 2012 3:55 pm

Asked what it would mean to him to play Chicago in the first round, Turner said, “It means we’re dodging the tougher team. That’s what I think.”

“I think we’ll be able to compete well against Chicago,” Turner said, “and have an opportunity to win the series.”

Seriously, what an idiot. You don't give bulletin board material to Rose and co.

I love how all these scrubs and busts think so highly of themselves against the Bulls.

Someone should remind ET that, for a #2 pick, he is a bust on equal proportion to Kwame Brown.

I do not disagree, if you are an NBA player you have to think you can win. The Heat are a better team than we are until we beat them in the playoffs.

I think he probably should of kept those thoughts in the locker room though, letting the bulls hear that is a little counter productive.

This is what I took out from that quote.

I was actually worried if Bulls would be motivated enough to beat the Sixers but if they really are going to tank the last 2 games to face us and the quotes above will make a nice bulletin board material for Bulls.

Now, I feel much more comfortable playing Sixers and beating them in a quick series. This will motivate the hell out of Bulls team. If Rose is healthy, he by himself will beat the sixers.

Lol. It kind of pisses me off how the Bulls get pretty much no respect. But oh we'll. Keep talking, Evan. It'll be that much sweeter when we beat you.

evan turner is an a-hole, always has been.

There's nothing wrong with having confidence, but he probably could've found a more graceful way of expressing it.

I hope he's ready because he just stirred the hornet's nest.
