Is this Flagrant 1, 2, or a good screen?

Definitely not a flagrant at all. Its playoffs basketball, that's a no call.

I'm just saying that it looks like LeBron fell legitimately but on his own accord. Aka - that jerky motion after the play was separate from the hit itself.

I don't think it's a no call though. It was a really bad screen - and by bad I mean poorly executed, not dirty. I think if Tyson's feeling better he gets to the spot sooner but he was way too much in motion.

I agree it was a foul, but these guys flopped their way through the whole game to open up that 30 point lead and the refs went for every flop they threw at us. I'm just saying this is the future of the NBA, we better get with the program or we'll just start losing more games. You have to have elite floppers to make it in this league. Melo has the potential to be an elite flopper. Amare I dont think has the brains.

Anyone that thinks that is not a foul just stop that is so obvious it is painful.... a flagrent however is just a downright horrible call, and if that action is considered flagrent i fail to see how any hard screen is not an instant flagrent

LeFlop is a bitch. Flailing his arms like a chicken is a disgrace to the NBA. I hope he never wins a championship.

Maybe if you watch it in slow motion. But in real time its clean. No elbows up in the air, and he looks set.
Ppl just hate those backcourt screens... I think they are kinda cheap and not needed but oh well.

I mean as soon as you see Chanlder's arms go up where his elbows and fists go into a players back you know its gonna be called a foul... Flagrant is way too much but I blame Metta for that.

The thing was Lebron stared at him for no reason. I mean, you just blind sided him. Wtf is so tough about that? His fake tough guy act is hilarious to me.

They both should have been regular personal fouls, no more no less. LeBron turned his left shoulder into Lucas, and Chandler leaned in on LeBron. Blame the teammates for not calling out the screens in both cases.

Knicks = flagrant foul.

Leflop James = no call

A sloppy hard foul that happened to catch Lebron at a bad angle. On a superstar it will general be called a flagrant to avoid cheap shots on the money makers, but the same foul on Joel Anthony might have been a play on, or at worst loss of possession.

It's a double standard, but a pretty common one. Same reason Carmelo can push off and Paul George can't...it's a star league, has been for a long time. (But I will admit Melo gets more contact going to the hoop without a foul than most, due him absorbing hits without embellishing it).
