I hate to see injuries like that and two on the opening day of the playoffs too. I think Rose will get back to his best. Griffin had the same injury and he's still getting head and shoulders above the rim. His athleticism has actually improved since the ACL injury.

I watched the end of the Indy, Orlando game and the OKC game. Indy choked big time and I'm even more jealous of OKC.

i think griffin only fractured his knee cap which i can't imagine is more severe than a torn acl. really feel for rose and bulls fan...rose seems like a real good guy and it's just been a hell of a season for him. the greed of both players and owners is pretty ridiculous...they could have easily gone 60 or so games over the same time period and taken care of their health a little better. i'd be extremely concerned about rose's future given his athletic ability and that newly signed max contact. wishing him a speedy and full recovery.

Yeah, your right it wasn't an acl. Still, Baron Davis came back ok after his and plenty of other athletes have.

People say the Spurs' depth won't matter in the playoffs, but think about it. W ith all these injuries, some teams championship dreams might already be over. A team with depth like the Spurs has a much better chance of overcoming an injury to a top player.

I love watching the Spurs play. They play a perfect style of basketball; play hard on defense and get the best shot possible on offense.

Their midseason acquisitions of Jackson and Diaw were big.

Let's name all of the former Wolves in the playoffs and see how they're doing:

Kevin Garnett (Celtics) : 20 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 1 block -> 40:18 mins
Al Jefferson (Jazz) : 16 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals -> 32:21 mins
Brian Cardinals (Mavericks) : 0's across the board
Ramon Sessions (Lakers) : 15 points, 5 assists, 2 rebounds -> 29:16 mins
Corey Brewer (Nuggets) : 11 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, -> 22:51 mins
Kosta Koufos (Nuggets) : 0 points, 5 rebounds, 1 block -> 11:39 mins
Jason Collins (Hawks) : 6 points, 5 rebounds -> 31:37 mins
Sasha Pavlovic (Celtics) : 1 rebound, 2 turnovers -> 5:56 mins

Randy Foye (Clippers) : Game still in progress
Ryan Gomes (Clippers) : Game still in progress

DNPs -> Ryan Hollins, Lazar Hayward

If I missed any, please feel free to add their statlines or DNPs...

All these players bring back memories..

He just had another beautiful dime. How cool would it be if Gasol and Bynum both got trip dubs today?

Clippers/Grizzlies game: Unreal... the greatest comeback in NBA history, even better than T-Mac's comeback. 27 down in the 4th quarter and you come back to win it. Unbelievable.
