Biggest choke I have ever seen in my life. This is plain ridiculous.

Words can't express how ridiculous this game was. Starting to make me think Rudy needs to go.

I'll let him redeem himself because I like him a lot as a player, but his 1 on 1 moves throughout the game caused turnovers and forced us into horrible situations.

Memphis is going to end up being known as "CHOKE CITY"

Luckily, unlike the National Championship game from a few years ago we have the opportunity to fight another day and put this gut punch feeling behind us.

Wednesday can not come soon enough. The next few days will be horrible locally and nationally.

Who is to blame? I hated the rotations throughout the game and felt that Rudy was awful.

Reggie Evans dominated Zach Randolph.

The game was mindblowing.

Like Elliot Perry was saying on the radio, bball is a simple game of taking advantage of mismatches and keeping the intensity up for 48 mins. The Grizzlies did not continue their offensive onslaught in the fourth quarter. They became indolent and maybe too arrogant in thinking with the big lead they had it was no need to push the lead up no further.

This game should prove to be a hard learn lesson for them. It doesn't take three quarters to win the game. It takes four quarters and full effort to win the game.

The fourth quarter performance by the Grizzlies was complete BS.

Grizzlies will win the next game by a large margin I predict.

I went to bed past midnight thinking the blowout was secure and the bench players would ride out the lead. How do you go from 95-71 to lose 98-99 in so little time? Game 2 just became a must win. Like win big or it's over.

Excuse my newness. Maybe this topic has been tackled already. But going forward, are Grizzlies likely to invest in Rudy Gay over Marc Gasol? I prefer Gasol be kept under-wraps more so than Gay given the league's lack of traditional post players.

Well after Grizz matched the MAX offer sheet from Houston to Gasol (restricted free agent) in December the Grizz committed equally to both players. IMO.

In the long term you might see Rudy more of a focus simply because he's a few years younger than Marc still, plays for NIKE, Team USA, and he's been with the team longer than anyone else. But we all know who the Allstars are on this team: ZBO, Gasol, and Arenas. Until Rudy gets that he's still got a chip on his shoulder.
