Postby BullRosed on Mon Apr 30, 2012 3:23 pm

still in dis belif, im a grown man and i really cryed, other people laugh, but they do not understand the love and passion we have and share, i have mixed emotions, i know we are a great team, and more then likely we will make it to the ecf, i belive in my team, but i am heartbroken.

i even think its to early to watch the next playoff game, i kind of just want my own time to see how i deal with it.

I am excited to see how the team does without Rose. Sorry to see him or any player hurt, but, unlike most others, I don't think his absence compromises the Bulls' chances. As long as Watson and Lucas are willing to pass the ball instead of putting up the 20-some shots that Rose was prone to do, the team has a shot to win it all. With Watson at the point, the team displays better ball movement than when Rose plays. Go Bulls.

I stepped away for a couple of days. Avoided ESPN and any other sports shows. It will be hard to watch the offs this year.

But....in reality, it it just basketball...ON TV. It does not pay my bills, and Rose will still get paid.

I was pretty down and I'm still down. In my subconscious I'm still in denial and still believe Rose will play on Tuesday. I still can't believe my favorite athlete went down with such an injury. But I'm a Bulls fan first and a Rose fan second, I'll continue to watch the playoffs until the Bulls get eliminated. I'm staying away from sports media and the television until tomorrow. Every news channel I turn to has the story and the replay, I can't stomach to watch that again. It feels like there has been a death to someone I know, as extreme and crazy as that sounds.

I was beyond upset Saturday and Sunday. It ruined my whole damn weekend. I still haven't been able to turn on any more playoff games or watch ESPN. It still hurts a little too much. But I will still be watching and cheering on the rest of the Bulls tomorrow. I just think I will forever be bitter about this season.

I'm still pretty down, but I was really down Sat/Sunday.

Using anything to kind of cheer me up.

Feels like a funeral.

stopped watching anything sports related, but will continue to watch the bulls games. If I knew the grizz were choking that game last night I prob would've tuned in though :P. I'll mainly be doing other things though.

I'm ready to see who will step up so we have an idea who to continue forth with in the future. If our bigs play good defense and grab boards this team has a shot still. The offense is still MORE DYNAMIC with Watson/JL3 and Hamilton then it was last year WITH Rose and Bogans/Brewer in the backcourt.

Can't lie, it got me really down over the weekend. I'm over being depressed now though. I've accepted it and am now really excited for game 2 and beyond.

It's going to be fun seeing how far we can go with nothing to lose.

There is still a feeling of emptiness though. I just hope Rose fully recovers.

It just proves how hard championships really are to win. You might have the best team in the league but you also need a ton of good luck to go with it.

Never been this down about sports in my life. I keep thinking, "What if this didn't happen? Why couldn't he last just another 1:20? He would have had 2 days off..."

I think that just watching them play tomorrow will help. Even if they don't play well. Either way, I'll root just as hard for them. Except with lowered expectations.

This was our year...f*ck
"Bellineli is a better creator than Korver. And Nazr is a much better offensive player than Asik. So even if our bench is worse defensively this year, it's going to be a lot better offensively. Great job, Front Office."
