Remember Miami really isn't that good of a road team.

File it under 'careful what you wish for.'

yeah but for those like albert and some other amare haters they should be jumping for joy. This is a great thing. They should actually thank amare for this no reason to say anything bad about him they got what they wanted.

The so-called Amar'e haters want him off the team, which can't happen at this point.

Then others prefer him to come off the bench, because they think it would help the team win.

But honestly I don't see any difference between "haters" or "lovers".

Both sides are irrational, just on different sides of being normal.

True, but who broke our home win streak?

Hope melo can keep pace. Hope steve and jr get hot from 3 and we ride the MSG emotion. At this point its the only way I see us avoiding a sweep.

Can't stand the heat but they are good. Their defense is excellent. Once in the open floor its over. And they have shooters to compliment.

True they are not that tough and lack heart. But the hard part is putting them in a position where they must fight. Cause they will run away with a game in the blink of an eye. And you won't get the benefit of the doubt.

@thugger I don't think wanting him to start is irrational, especially since he needs to get more playing time becaue of injuries. If we did play him off the bench I'm not sure he would be as effective for the rest of the year. Also since were playing the heat I think we should go out guns blazing imo.

chandler needs rest too i hope jorts gets to play he could be the key player we need to step up also if jeffries can't do anything tomorrow in practice shut him down let somebody else play his minutes lot of our players are getting tired in second half because our starters have to do everything.

This season has come to a crashing burn w injuries riddling a team that if healthy and full strength would have been very fun to watch... But tonight we just got outplayed by better team and it was clear as day... Nothing this team can do, especially in this state, when their 3 stars are hitting shots.. Or when they're moving the ball and Battier or miller /jones get wide open shots..

That team can run plays everytime down the court that result in an open shot for Miller bc one of the main 3 will get doubled at some point.. Compare that w us not being able to get Novak one SINGLE open look, it shows you what a disadvantage were at..(imagine Novak on their team.. Scary)

Disappointing to see such an up and down season and promising group come to such an ugly ending w so many injuries, and drawing the best team in the league in The first round.. Do people see how **** stupid it is to say "who cares, we have to go through the heat anyway!!" is now?

That's fine but the record stands they're 18-15 on the road and we're 22-11 at home.. we should win at least a game.

second verse same as the first. last year was the same ****. fact is, when you're as injured as this team is, we can't compete in the playoffs. not gonna happen. i think we'll can win our home games, but after that, its looking shaky.

Agreed bad year to many up's and downs, lots of injuries and playing the heat didn't help. Next year I expect a lot more from this team. I think people were expecting a lot even after this up and down year and it just wasn't going to happen. Like i said before I thought we would lose this series in 5 probably 4 now. Not upset by it because of the way this year went but will expect more next year. We have a full season under woodson or some other coach. Also time to rest up and get players healthy can't wait until next year. I know this series isn't over but can't see us coming back.

Believe me I'm not endorsing Amar'e coming off the bench, as I want the best players on the floor as much as possible.

But I also don't give a rats ass about ego's, and would want the coach to do what he feels is the best way to win.

But you have to find it alarming that Amare can log in heavy minutes, but have role player type shot attempts.

That's not ever an issue in a win, but in a loss, it has to be on his mind.

Yeah I agree and while the game was going on I wanted stat to get way more shots, but the team seemed to kind of ignore him, but agree whatever it takes to win.

Look, the Knicks were exposed. This team does not respond well to pressure. You can make all the excuses in the world but the bottom line is, Miami has the better players. This is the team for the next 3 seasons. Maybe...maybe they'll get a little better IF every one stays healthy and gets more in rhythm BUT they won't ever be better than Miami unless they get one more big piece of the puzzle.
