The Room is an amazing movie to watch. I remember getting a buffer on it from a friend and watching a few clips on YouTube prior to seeing it. Yet, despite having a decent idea of what it was going to be like, my jaw was agape the entire time. It's beautifully bad. Like, so bad it's good and you want to watch it over and over again. Some of the most fun nights I've had over the last year or two were introducing the Room to unprepared friends. Definitely a movie everyone should own.

I remember the night you showed it to me on Kristin's b-day... It was already 2:30 in the morning and I had to stay up until like 4:30 to see it all.
Jerk.

I came across the room because the guys from Mystery Science Theater did a riff track of the movie. If you haven't watched it with the riff track, I highly suggest it!
Go ahead, make your jokes, Mr. Jokey... Joke-maker. But let me hit you with some knowledge. Quit now. Save yourself the embarrassment of losing with these losers in the playoffs, Herb Kohl.

The thing I've noticed after watching the new DKR trailer a few times is that it sounds like they cleaned up Bane's dialogue, so now it is easier to hear what he is saying. I love the sound of his voice, it's creepy/bad ass.

Avengers was certainly better than expected. Maybe it's just my dislike for Jeremy Renner as an actor, but I hated Hawkeye and thought he was done totally cheesy.
I really loved what they did with Hulk. I hated the two hulk movies but as a small supporting role he was totally badass and brought some great humor. The premise was a little much and it obviously felt a bit rushed but the performances saved it, led as always by RDJ. He was born to play that role.

I've waited a lifetime for this movie. I collected comics as a kid and the Mighty Avengers was my favorite title. Best Marvel movie made to this point. The Thanos of Titan teaser after the credits means this franchise is headed in the right direction. Marvel is a "universe". Lot's of epic tales have already been written. It's good to finally see a time when Hollywood has the technology to represent these great characters and stories in film.
