Diaw is making a great a job in defense against Millsap and make some bright helps and he is very concern in rebounds which is an area where he had decrease a long the years but he's like living again.
Also Jackson bring is experience and is strong personnality added to his good IQ basketball as Diaw and he is lately heating more shots which is a good sign.
Spurs is the toughest team to beat in this playoff.

Like I said, Spurs will take this series easily. People severely overrated the Jazz's chances and severely underrated SA's. There are far too many fairweather "experts" who base their opinion entirely on what happened 365 days ago. Omg, finals~? They're the favorites this year, all year long! WCF~? They must be the favorites to get back there! Lost in first round? There's a good chance it'll happen again!

Yeah, I don't think so, dimwits. Spurs to WCF at least, and only won't get to the finals if the refs call the WCF series 70/30 in favor of the other team.

They have a nice young core, but they're not ready to beat us now. Their vets are really washed up (Howard, Raja, Harris) and their young boys are not ready to beat an elite team like ours.

All this "we struggle against BIG teams" is pure crap. We struggle against physical elite BIGs like any other team in the league. Look at what Bynum is doing against Denver.
I am sorry but a 6'10 Al Jefferson playing out of position and a 6'8 Millsap is not what's going to kill us.

We will continue to run P&R and off-screen plays and they won't be able to stop us simply because they're bad at defending it (25th and 23th respectively.) and we're elite doing it (1st and 5th respectively).

This series ends in 5 at most.

I didn't say we needed Splitter against the Jazz. I was saying he should have plenty of time to recover if we pack the series away in 4 games, so he'll have plenty of rest days to fully recover.

I didn't say Jefferson and Millsap would kill us either. . .I said the opposite; that they weren't going to bother us at all, and that Duncan would shut down and outplay Jefferson despite stupid Barkley claiming Jefferson's better than Duncan now (Duncan is proving that to be false).

We do struggle against the biggest teams. Don't forget both ZBo and Gasol had a huge series against us last year. ZBo was shooting over 60% for most of those games and averaging 12-16 boards at the same time (not counting his 1 1/2 off games where Duncan exclusively defended him). When/if we play the Grizzlies and/or the Lakers, it's going to be different. Luckily for us, the Lakers backcourt blows, so we'll at least get some good looks there. Grizzlies have a decent backcourt defense, so they're probably our worst matchup out of everyone in the playoffs aside from OKC solely because of their whistles.

The key player of this series in the paint is obviously TD because he is the big guy and super star of the spurs for 16 years but also you have a great boris diaw to contain millsap and to pass the ball on the corner for 3 point shots which also give some confidence for the 2 young guys leonard and green who are very important bringing some scoring. You see that when those 2 guys hit shots the lead can be huge.
And what about tony unstoppable and dominated Harris for the moment and leading his team like never before.
I think it's gone a be a sweep even if at salt lake city the crowd push very hard the jazz, the spurs are to strong and so focus that they won't be surprised by the jazz. Spurs will have a real opponent for them at the stage of conference final. Before that it will almost be a one team show .

I guess, in a sense, all we did was took care of business at home. I personally didn't notice what adjustments Utah made for game 2. Whatever it was, it sucked. Will be interesting if they can make it a series when we get to Utah cause this is looking like a sweep.

Biggest emphasis for us for game 3 was limiting offensive rebounds. I don't but that crap about them missing more shots so they had more chance of offensive rebounds. The issue wasn't that they had more offensive rebounds than us, it was that they have too many offensive rebounds regardless of how much we had. they had 13 offensive rebounds and I remember at some point in the third quarter, they shot 69 times, we shot 59 times. If we could correct that, hell.. 80 point win!

I was worried about the height of their bigs, in the same way I worry about Memphis and LAL's bigs, but the reality is that Utah isn't really that tall per se, there's just a lot of them. Jefferson, Millsap, Kanter, Favors are all skilled big men but do any of them come close to 7 feet? Maybe Kanter, and he's used sparingly as it is. Millsap's listed at 6-8 but looks more like 6-6.

No doubt, they're much more energetic tonight and is making their shots. Luckily, they're not really stopping our offense.

We really really need to clean the glass better. Third game in a row where Utah is just killing us on the offensive glass. It's not a big problem when we're winning and blowing teams out, but in close game or in a loss, it sticks out like a ****.

3 things to look for in 2nd half IMO.

Manu: Passive/Aggresive? He's out there too much as a playmaker. We need Manu attacking the basket drawing fouls getting contact.

Keeping the Jazz off the off. Rebounding. They already have 8.

Run the pick and roll with whoever Favors is guarding. You don't want to have Favors waiting for you at the rim.

Yep, we're going to have to start sending four guys to the glass. We'll have to sacrifice fast break points but I have confidence in our half court offense.
